My Cane Corso has destroyed every toy I've given him. I ordered this ball before I got him last year, and he just turned one a couple weeks ago. He loves to play fetch with it and chew the hell out of it, and yet it still looks new. It's large size means you don't need to worry about it getting caught in your dog's throat. (I've read those horror stories online) When he goes in his crate, I smear peanut butter in the hole in the middle and it keeps him busy for a while. Overall awesome and versatile toy! I'd say I'd buy it again, but it looks like I won't need to for a LONG time. Read more

Some of the edges of this toy are fraying, but not terribly. My puppy has been playing with it for about 7 weeks now. He loves it. It's pretty heavy duty, but not so heavy duty that he has to play with it outside. We toss it around for him in the house all the time. It also has several places that you can "hide" treats in. This ball has a very unique pattern to it, with several grooves to chew. My "puppy" is an 8-month old chocolate lab who weighs 83 pounds and loves to shred anything he can get his teeth on. He has destroyed 3 toys that claimed to be "virtually indestructible" within 10 minutes or less. So I'd say that we are very happy with this toy. It was worth the $10 or so that I paid for it. We just bought him the JW Megalast Gummi Bear too, and he loves that. It has a cool, deeper squeaking sound to it when you squeeze it, not the usual annoying high-pitched squeaks that most squeaky toys have. So far, I like the JW brand. :) Read more

I bought two of these from a local store 3 years ago. Our chocolate lab loves to play fetch with these. It's his favorite game. I lost one of the balls last year and have been looking for a replacement. He chews right through tennis balls and any other cheaper ones on the market so I wanted one of these. The one remaining ball we have is still going strong. It has survived his many retrieves. The only knock against this order is I did not get the opportunity to pick the color. Our dog saw the lime green colored ball better in lower light evening playtimes than he does the red colored ball. When I ordered the ball, I had the lime color selected. What I received was the red one. So overall we are extremely pleased with this product. Allowing customers to pick the color would be the 1 item needing improvement. Read more

This ball has survived a lot of abuse by our two dogs. Both dogs love it. All of the holes make it easy for them to breathe with it in their mouth. However, they like to try to rip chunks out of it, so we just use it to play fetch and then put it away. Unfortunately, the way they do the tags on this ball mean that once you cut them off, there are sharp plastic bits left hidden in one of the side holes. Once we realized that, we used a screwdriver to gently pop them out. They came out easily enough that we are worried that they could have fallen out and one of our dogs could have eaten them. I wish they would do the packaging differently. Read more

My lab/collie loves balls. Chuckle. Anyway, we’ve gone through many many many plastic and tennis balls because he loves them so much, he destroys them. This ball has actually withstood his chewing. Some bits have come off but mostly, it’s intact. He seems to enjoy the squeaking sound of the plastic when he chews (not internal squeaker, just the outside when wet). It has great bounce and I can throw it pretty far with these wimpy girl arms of mine. Minor inconvenience is it picks up a lot of dirt and debris after a play session, so I have become the ball washer in this household. Worth it for my CV. Highly recommend this company, we have a lot of toys from JW Pet. They’re all made well and I’ll continue to buy. Read more

Have five of these balls now. Dogs LOVE them. Have a bigger 75 lb German Sheppard mix and a min pin mix and neither have been able to chew these apart. I wish there was an option to select a color though as it seems you get a random color each time. We have gotten 2 green, 2 red, and 1 black one. The dogs cannot see the black one as well as the other two colors so we keep it along with one red and one green inside. We have had some of them now for over a year and still have not had any pieces come off or it break down at all. I have even run them over with the lawn mower a few times and they still remained in tact which I was surprised by! Great product will continue to buy things from this company! Read more

I have a Pitbull Jack Russell mix that is definitely an aggressive. Chewer. He has already torn chunks out of it and it’s only been like 2-3 days. On day one he was able to bite a chunk out of it. It’s good for your dog to get a good grip from the texture and it’s a nice material that should last a long time but if you have a dog like mine that goes through tennis balls within a day I do not recommend Read more

My dog Fynn ONLY loves this ball to the point that the last one we had lasted almost 4 years and finally started showing signs of wear and tear. It's something I throw and he fetches every day and he absolutely treasures it. He refuses to play with anything else. I had a hard time finding a new one after 4 years I had to take a picture of it and do a Google image search which led me to this product page. If you have a dog that'll just simply eat a tennis ball I highly recommend this product. Its Fynn approved! Read more
