I was very leery buying the “non traditional” air conditioner but needed Coolblus Portable air conditioner for my humongous window in the bedroom. I am SOOOOO glad I brought this air conditioner. It came sooner than expected and packaged great. The Coolblus Portable Air Conditioner is incredible! It cools my room fast, runs super quiet, and is so easy to move around. I love the simple controls, the powerful airflow, and how quickly it drops the temperature. Setup took only minutes, and it’s surprisingly energy-efficient too. If you want a portable AC that really delivers, the Coolblus is absolutely worth it! Highly recommended! I plan on getting another for my front room!! Read more
Super cold air! Used it in our summer cabin, always starts with cold air. Thermostat works great for overnight. No issues whatsoever. Great little portable air conditioner! Perfect size, cools 300sf with no problems. Love it! Read more
Purchased this air conditioner for our second floor bedroom area which gets extremely hot. The unit works great cooling the space quickly and also runs very quietly. We had a small issue with connecting the drainage hose but the companies customer service team was very helpful and responsive with finding a solution. We ended up running the hose out the window and have had no issues with the drainage. I would recommend this air conditioner unit as it cools the space down well and is a great price point. I also like that it is compact and can easily be moved to different areas of the house as needed. Read more
so unpackaging it was a pain in the butt because I was down a hand (injury). and I didn't realize until I was tearing into the box that I could've just lifted up on the box and then picked it up to take the styrofoam off the bottom. A little card of how to take it out of the packaging would be nice but... Setting it up was very easy I mean very very easy! The only thing that was difficult is the dang tube! what I found that worked is I only stretched the very end of it and kept the rest of it compressed and then held it with my legs and screwed it on it kept going on crooked so I resorted to desperate measures lol. once the tube is on though it's pretty sturdy. When you first turn it on it's pretty powerful! I mean the whole machine makes a jolt. and it will cool down a room that is around 83° weather down to 65° in 25 mins. you're able to angle the direction of flow too up down left and right. it claims to be very energy efficient per the yellow sticker, it says it only adds $77 annually. The rating on the website is a bit confusing because one thing says it has one star and then the other one says that the rating is 6.5. I had to resort to a small trashcan next to it to collect the condensation, I started with a water bottle but that filled up insanely quick! There's two options to let it fill up or two have it continuously drain into a bucket or container. I opted to put some type of container by it because the location where I have it is a little bit cramped. I don't really use the nighttime mode where it claims to be quieter, I can sleep through a tornado lol it does have a loud fan like noise and when it's working really hard you hear the compressor shutting on and off and it makes a loud jolt. I got the 8500 one for 300 ft.² my bedroom is around 120 Square (feet i think) paid around 202 usd. With memorial day holiday it got delayed two days but Amazon kept me updated where it was. Another complaint is the window panel piece, I first couldn't even figure it out how to attach it to the hose then I just gave up after I realized it wouldn't even fit in my window. so I resorted to cardboard and just folded it to make it have a seal. No issues with that but if it's raining heavy then I have to take it out. I wish that different sizes were sold instead of just being told well you can cut it in the directions. another thing if you really do not know what you're doing the directions are no help at all! Oh and one thing is I ran it without the tube just to see what would happen and it made my room insanely hot! The tube is definitely needed! And honestly I wish they put it on all dehumidifiers because the one that is in the living room does not have a tube and it makes the house hotter as it removes the moisture. There's three settings fan, Dehumidifier, and AC. Read more

This portable ac is a lifesaver for our bedroom. It cools quickly and is quiet enough to be considered white noise at night (bonus!). It is lightweight and easy to install, and best of all-affordable. Read more
Works excellent so far, cools my small bedroom during heatwave with no issues. Got tired of the window rattlers, so went portable. I always hated the window AC's that block up the whole window and are loud. And also doesn't allow my dog look outside. So I bought some portable AC's this year. This one works great in my small bedroom. Runs efficient and not overly loud. On high fan it's definitely not quiet, but not as loud as a small window ac. I also have grow tents so need the fresh/dry/cool room whenever possible. Note that on fan mode it still blows air out the ducting, which means it has dual fans inside, which is a good thing. I highly recommend buying a automatic condenser pump (as pictured) when using any portable AC's so there is no worrying about the tank filling up and the AC shutting off. I've only used this AC for a few weeks, so can't attest to it's true lifespan. I know portable AC's, can fail more often then window ac's, leaving you are stuck with a 50+ lbs item you are burdened to ship back. At this price it's a good deal. If I get 2-3 summers out of it then I will feel I got what a paid for. I may edit this review as time goes on. UPDATE: 100 degree Heat wave hits New England. Got this little AC running 24/7, right now its 98 degrees outside with 99% humidity, and about 80 degrees 65% humidity inside the bedroom. I think that's the limit. Looking back I should have grabbed the higher btu unit for days like today. But it is what it is. Definitely get yourself an insulted duct sleeve (as pictured) or make one with a sheet. That will help the heat get out the window. I will add new pics. Recap of tips, and must haves, for portable AC's users.. -Buy an automatic condenser pump when you buy any portable AC and never worry about a full tank/bucket. -Buy a exhaust insulator sleeve or make your own with a sheet/blanket. -Constantly check/clean the filters. Clean weekly if using 24/7. -Make sure to seal all the leaks around your window so the AC pulls the rooms hot air and not outside hot air. Read more
