Lightweight Posture Help Without the Bulk I picked up this Rakiie posture corrector mostly to give my upper back and shoulders a little support during long computer sessions. For the price, it’s a surprisingly decent little device — not a medical-grade brace, but a helpful reminder to straighten up without feeling like I’m wearing a full-on harness. Out of the package, the material feels lightweight and breathable. That was one of my biggest concerns — I didn’t want something sweaty or constricting — and this actually disappears under a T-shirt pretty well. The shoulder pads are a nice touch and help keep the straps from digging in, at least during the first hour or two. The support itself works more like a gentle cue than a rigid brace. When I start to slouch, the straps tug just enough to remind me to open my chest and pull my shoulders back. On days when my upper back feels tight after too much sitting, I did notice a small improvement in comfort after wearing this for a bit. A few things to keep in mind: sizing is tricky. The medium technically fit me fine around the chest, but I can see how taller folks or people with longer torsos might feel the belt creeping upward — several reviewers mentioned this, and the design isn’t really built for height adjustments. Also, while the underarm strap is more comfortable than bare webbing, extended wear can still lead to some rubbing. This is definitely a “wear for an hour or two” product, not something I’d keep on all day. Build quality is decent for the price — not flimsy, but not something I expect to last for years either. The Velcro is strong, and the stitching looks good. Comfort varies depending on how snug you make it; too tight and it digs, too loose and it slides. It takes a little tweaking to find the sweet spot. Bottom line: A budget-friendly posture corrector that’s comfortable enough for short daily sessions and offers gentle awareness rather than rigid support. Just be mindful of sizing and don’t expect all-day wear comfort or heavy-duty stability. Read more

This actually works if you do nothing more than walk around. However, when I did yard work, I found the shoulder straps (similar to wearing a backpack) cut into my armpits which rubbed my skin raw in little time. I think the manufacturer is aware of this design flaw because they include a small Velcro strap to pull the shoulder straps together on your chest. Therefore my 3 stars. Manufacturer might want to review back packs to redesign a permanent chest strap that stays in place preventing sore armpits. Read more
1.) item appeared to be already used. There was what looked like a deodorant streak on the shoulder pad part which I’m assuming was in someone’s armpit at one point. It had some hairs and stuff on it like smaller hairs and dust but like stuff that wouldn’t be on it if it was actually brand new. I understand people trying to make a living but if you’re gonna sell me something that I have to clean deodorant off of maybe sell it at half price. I think it’s the greed of these sellers that highly irritates me. The bag was also opened in the box it didn’t even have a safety seal. 2.) does it work? I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who has a real injury or recovering from any kind of injury. Maybe it’s because mine was used but where it’s supposed to provide back support it left a big gaping hole in the back. It does pull the shoulders back but doesn’t provide back support. I will reiterate maybe that’s because mine was used by someone of a different size I don’t really know. But yeah…. I would recommend if you’re okay with buying some you have to clean and pay full price for and if you just need it because you “forget to stand up straight” but as far as real support you’re better off spending a little more to get something that actually supports your back. It shows that it goes way farther down the back in the photos than it really does and I’m short and petite so that’s saying a lot. Read more

Nowhere near the size it shows in the image. It barely makes it out of the small of my back. While it does correct posture some, the crossover piece in the center.... That EVERY OTHER ONE EVER MADE IS STITCHED.... is VELCRO in their model. A few seconds after my wife took this pic she said hey it looks like the center cross over is torn.... Before she finished her sentence the Velcro on it released and I got smacked in the back of the head. Horrible design. Tried again, went to sit down and go back to work, it released and went flying again. Why would you make this piece Velcro instead of stitched in, or run thru the back brace portion like everyone else does? The shoulder padding is the only reason this gets 2 stars. All the other ones don't have padding. The center chest brace I thought was smart too, but it is incredibly uncomfortable. Returning, used for 5 minutes and got smacked in the head twice. Read more
