These work great. They are high quality and last a long time. The have 3 different layers so that I can lift my heel 1/8", 1/4", or 3/8". One of my legs is shorter than the other and most people have one leg that is longer/shorter than the other. My left leg is 8mm shorter than my right leg and that causes my hips to not be straight, and in turn, that causes me to have lower back pain. By placing one of these in my left shoe, it raises my leg and levels my hips so that I have much less back pain. This is the same brand sold at the Chiropractor's office and I bought my first pair there because they were recommended to help me. These are much cheaper on Amazon, so I bought 3 more pair here on Amazon and now I have them in all the shoes I wear on a regular basis. They really help and they last a long time. Some people put them in both shoes to give cushion for their heels and they work great for that too because they absorb a lot of shock in the heel when you walk. I had surgery on my Achilles so when I was finally able to walk, I needed heel lifts with my walking boot. These worked well, but wasn’t high enough at all, so I needed to buy a pair and then it was enough, so that’s why I deducted a star. comfy and fit well, they seem to stay put pretty well even in a pair of fuzzy slippers that only has a small heel ‘lip’. they are not super thick, especially after being used for a while they start to squish down and not recover to their original height. I use the whole thing (all 3 layers) at once as i have about a one inch discrepancy from a hip/femur surgery i had as a preteen and now that im mid 40’s my hip and back can get spicy from the arthritis. I would say each lift lasts for at least 6months of daily use before i need to replace them, but it’s great when you get 2 sets and only need it in one shoe at a time. Will definitely order again, even if i find something a little more permanent these are nice to be able to slip into just about any shoes quickly. Read more
