I cannot believe that I am saying this, but this blender is worth the money. My spouse has continually told me about this type of blender and insisted we try it. We have another brand-name blender that works sufficiently, but he could not stop raving about this style, which they use in his friend's smoothie shop. I make a huge batch of chili crisp oil every few months and use the blender to make it. Everyone loves my chili oil...except my spouse, who said it had great flavor, but that he didn't like the pieces at the bottom. He prefers the oil a friend makes because the crisp part is very well ground, almost a wet sand texture. That's the part he likes to eat. So I made half this batch in the original blender and half in the new blender and....WOW. I wound up putting the first batch into the new blender to reblend since it did such a great job! I'm so excited to use this blender to make smoothies. I hate seeds in my smoothies, and I think this blender is going to pulverize the seeds so well! The blender is super easy to use, even without looking at the instructions. There IS a power switch on the side as well as the button on the front...that threw me for a loop for a second. You can adjust both the speed and time. I love that i can set it for 1 minute and walk away from it, and then it won't over-blend. The blender is FAR quieter than the other one I own. Read more
