Works as Intended

Nanci K GeiserDecember 9, 2025✓ Verified purchase

Needed a stand rather than a spring holder for my tablet as I did not want to have to remove the tablet cover ... perfect for my art studio for reference photos while I paint, and will double as a projector holder and perhaps even a laptop tray in future. I like that there is a mouse tray just in case. One bad ... phone holder broke as soon as I tried to use it. The spring load apparently not so much spring loaded. Fortunately, I had one from another device that I could switch out, tho not even sure I'll use it. Read more

Well designed well made laptop stand!

PM228822August 25, 2025✓ Verified purchase

This is a well made projector/laptop stand. A colleague has two of these and I have been impressed with them. It is sturdy and very functional. My one small complaint is that the platform is a bit small for my 17 inch laptop so I had to flip it over during assembly. Otherwise, it is a stellar product and worth every penny. By the way, the instructions were well written/illustrated and easy to follow. Read more

Quite sturdy

Poc Network // TechSeptember 19, 2023✓ Verified purchase

There are a number of projector stand solutions out there, but most of them are kind of limited when it comes to the kind of weight they can bear. Most of them are flimsy like a cheap music stand, so it is hard to recommend putting in an expensive projector on one. But this one, seems to make an exception to that rule. The sturdiness of this one is by far much greater than the basic stands we have tried before this. This is mostly thanks to the fact that you can lock the feet in their open position as the screw not only tightens to the pool but through it via a few selectable holes. Then the extension piece doesn't slide down. It simply inserts, so if you're going up higher that's one less point that could come loose and slide. It's the top most adjustable section that slides up and down and as long as you tighten that as tight as you can get, it really can take a lot of weight. Hence, the reason why I included a picture of a 35 lb weight that I placed on top just to make sure, before putting a 12 lb projector on it (I wanted to make complete sure that it would work). And so far, it has been holding up just fine with the projector on it. Which is no surprise, since it took the weight during that test, like a champ. It comes with a simple bag that everything can come apart and slide into, as well as a very simple bag, for the top tray to come off and slide into if you want to store it separately. It does include an allen key so you can tighten the point at which the top bar and slide up and down. In case you want to lock it into place even further. The only replace you want to make sure is secure is the very top for the tray connects so that it doesn't flip downward or backward. So before you put any weight on it, make sure you really tighten that down, just to be safe. I didn't see any reason to doubt it, but I'm a little OCD when it comes to those things. I think it has a decent price for what it is, and it holds a lot of weight, can be extended pretty tall, and can be used for many things. The little side tray and the phone holder is an extra touch, although I can't see it being used in our case but can't see it being used in many others. So all in all, I'd say this was a good investment. Read more

Lip interferes with computer ports/power. Adjustment height requires inserting/removing pole.

silenceMay 13, 2023✓ Verified purchase

There is a lot to like about this item. However, if your use case is for a computer, especially for home use, there are some things you need to consider. 1) While it technically has a wide range of height adjustment, is not quite as it seems. For many use cases, it's not at all practical to adjust the height. Basically for sitting or lower ranges, you use only 2 poles (and no way to store the 3rd pole or the tool you need to insert/remove it, directly on the stand itself. To use it with a time, treadmill, or standing position, you need to insert the 3rd pole. So adjusting from sit to stand, or anywhere in between, you need to add/remove a pole 😖. To do the you need to lots the height adjustments clamp, remove the pole that's attached to the tray, then use an clean wrench to take the clamp off the other pie it's currently on, snap in the 3rd pole (or remove it) now attach the clamp onto that (3rd pole or bottom pole), and slide the top back through the clamp and tighten to your desired height. Not practical for around the house or office or mini gym. Also, you have to store those pieces somewhere else, & fetch/put then away each time. This is fine if you only use it at a single height, or use this for traveling to a site for an event, where assembling it is part of the setup process, and it doesn't change, until you break it down for traveling again. But the range that will most often be used and frequently changed between is NOT within the adjustment range! 2) The lip of the tray is continuous around all 4 sides, with no cut-outs. So: - you may not be able to access ANY of your computer ports. Including to plug in your power cord, or a Bluetooth wireless mouse/keyboard, transmitter/receiver, a USB stick, use the headphone jack, or plug in any other device. - If you computer is any wider or longer than the tray, it will not fit in the tray & cannot hang over the edge at all. Conceivably you can attach the tray upside-down, but then you have zero lip at all. Did not make any height adjustments with your laptop or anything else on the tray, and be sure to not accidentally stumble on one of the legs or not the pole with you leg. The probability of contents to three floor are get high. There are no cut outs on the tray, so it's all is nothing. 3) If you intend to use this from a sitting position or at an exercise machine, is unlikely to work for you. Unlike a TV tray where the tray extends forward & the vertical legs are at the back of the hat, this tray cannot get any closer than the edge of your chair or exercise machine. The pole is in the center, so the closest edge of your tray can only overhang a few inches from the edge of your chair or machine. In all cases it is to far a reach to type or reach your mouse. And if you have touch screen, that will be an even further reach. Your laptop will be simply unusable unless you are standing right up against it. You cannot even use it as a TV tray to eat at. (basically, is best use is as a projector tray. Or maybe a standing-only laptop station, though the extension pole (you have to use to reach standing height) is a bit wobbly at its attachment spot, so be careful! 4) You cannot "level" the tray. And when I put mine together, it angles down on the side with the muse tray. There is no way to adjust this out. This may not ever cause an issue, but it certainly bugged me. Other recommendations: Get one of those little rubbery anti slip pads that are used for carpets or cupboards. It comes with a little foam piece to put in the tray, but an anti-slip pad will work much better. You really do have to pot something in the bottom of the tray, because the 4 screws you attach to out to the stand do stick out about the tray a little bit. Not only could they scratch the bottom of the laptop, but it might also wobble a tiny bit workout laying something down. I prefer the anti-slip, cushioning, and nose dampening of the pass over the included goal. It'll also last longer. So would a towel ;) Read more

Handy stand!

sandimSeptember 5, 2025✓ Verified purchase

I really like this and it's very helpful for my work setup. I have two large monitors plus a laptop. I use my laptop mainly only for email so I don't need it really close. I set this stand up behind my two monitors so my laptop is on top of them and that works out really well. You can get the stand up really high and really close, so that's helpful. Makes it very versatile. It was very easy to assemble. I didn't use the phone stand. I don't have a need for it. Read more
