The speaker dual stand pair was well packaged and arrived in excellent condition. It is heavy duty and functions well for its intended purpose proving to provide a stable base that will not tip over easily due to the weight and the wide stan area of the tripod base. The width of the tripod base is adjustable to allow fitting into various size areas and accomodating different weight loads for the sapeakers. I am pleased with the purchase. It is an excellent value. Read more

These stands satisfied my basic requirements. Many thanks to all those that provided earlier reviews that help solidify my purchase. The stands are easy to assembly requiring very little assembly, very sturdy and built with good quality "meaty" materials, and can be adjusted for height. I am using them to hold JBL 530 speakers which are 17 lbs each. They have no issue doing this and exhibit no straining due to load. The height adjustability has a series of drilled holes which a height adjustment pin can be fed through. This is how I trust adjusting the height while supporting the stand load. It is possible to use the collar to utilize the full range of height between the pins, but for moderately expensive speakers, I'll stick with the pins. This is a great feature as it really allows a listener to adjust the speaker height for a range of applications and speaker designs. I do trust using the collars without full extension of the legs to bring the tripod legs in slightly to open up walking space about the stands. This allows the tripod leg arrangement to cover a smaller area than full extension, but still provide adequate support for the speakers. There will be a point the stand may become wobbly if pulled in far enough, but if the collar is tight, the legs will be sturdy yet. I haven't utilized the poles to run the wires yet, but the main support tube appears to provide adequate clearance for 12 gauge speakers wires. Overall, I'm quite pleased. The platforms offer adequate room for 7.8" x 11.8" isolation pads to be placed to dampen the JBL 530 speakers from the stands. I would prefer if the speakers were on a shelf, maybe just because I'm not experienced with stands, but in use, the stands provide more than enough support. I recommend this stand for those looking for something adjustable, sturdy and well built. If there was a version without a tripod leg setup, but a more flat base, I think that might be more aesthetically pleasing and would be quite popular if it offered similar sturdiness. Read more

I really love these stands! They are light, but very sturdy. I was able to assemble them in about a minute. And they just _feel_ nice. Unfortunately, I’ve found that I’m having trouble using them. This is more my fault than their’s. When I bought them, I had not fully planned my studio but knew I didn’t want my monitors sitting on my desk - I wanted the space and I wanted to isolate them more than just using foam. They absolutely accomplished this goal, but as I continued to design my studio space, I ran into some trouble. The first was that they have a large footprint (albeit somewhat adjustable, but the tripod loses stability as it gets smaller) so they take up a lot of space and are limited in where they can go. I kept finding myself wishing I could put them somewhere that they just wouldn’t fit. This is my biggest misgiving about them. My other two complaints are more minor. The platforms are a bit awkward in shape. They are shorter than my isolation foam, so I would have to trim it or have it hang off (unsightly but really not a deal breaker at all) and the little padding that is on them is not enough for isolation. Finally, the platforms don’t tilt. Not a big deal at all, but would be nice. Overall, these are an amazing deal at the price. If the large footprint isn’t an issue, you should buy them without thinking twice. Even with my issues I will be keeping them and looking for excuses to buy other Pyle products because I was so impressed. Read more

The box was in pretty bad shape and clearly reaped however the product was in pristine condition and all of the pieces were present. First impression after getting Polk RTI28 bookshelf speakers up and aimed...these are very sturdy, adjustable and absolutely what I needed. The included very thin non skid self adhesive strips were not used as I have my own isolation pads. The stands are infinitely height adjustable using the pressure knobs however the holes for the pin are at set heights. Thankfully, the second hole has the speakers tweeter lined up at the height of my ears at my listening position so I was able to have the additional security that the pin provides. So far, the stands are quiet even with low bass notes. I will recommend these to friends after more time has passed with continued great performance. Read more
