After shopping many other models, we purchased 4 of these Pyle PASPADLK55 stands for use in our company's trade show booth. They are perfect for our needs and exceeded our expectations! This stand is very well designed of quality aluminum and steel components and, when assembled, is sturdy and attractive. Even the fasteners to assemble the stand are of high quality. The holder that encases the iPad is also well designed and secure, can be fastened vertically or horizontally...and can be tilted forward and backward from either orientation. Included with the holder are silicone corner pads to securely hold different models of iPads (we are using new iPad Air units and they fit perfectly). The floor plate is hefty and stable as is; it could be further secured (with pre-drilled holes and included hardware) to the floor or to an expanded base of our own construction. Overall, the quality of this stand is good; it’s sturdy, stable and relatively easy to assemble. However, the openings for the iPad lightening charging cable and the on/off power button are way, way too small! Unless you keep a small diameter tool nearby (impractical) to fit in the tiny opening to turn the iPad on/off, you have to unscrew the locking screws with a Torx tool (also impractical). If the charging cable somehow falls out, it’s nearly impossible to reattach without unscrewing the locking screws with the Torx tool (also impractical). This stand was purchased for use on stage for music tracks during church services and the locking cover does not allow the entire iPad screen to be seen and the operator must have access to the entire screen during rehearsals and services. No matter what combination of rubber support bumpers used they had to be altered by cutting portions out. All of this resulted in having to use an angle grinder to cut out larger openings for the on/off switch and lightening cable access point, as well as removing almost 1/3” from the cover plate on the opposite end from the home button and lightening cable access point. We are now able to use the iPad but I’m just a bit torqued I had to spend a couple of hours altering this stand before it could be used. Please consider some design changes as outlined above. We don't use this very often but the top part of the bracket that attaches the 'head' to the post is terribly weak. The iPad/case wobble really badly. What makes it worse is its not repairable at all. I need to check on the warranty as we haven't had it that long but this is definitely a very, very weak point and makes it completely unsuitable for any normal use. *okay, just checked warranty. It has one but its absolutely worthless. You need to send a check for $15 along with it, plus the cost of shipping (and of course I don't have the box) and they decide if they're going to fix it. It costs more to send it back than it does to buy a new one so the warranty really isn't a warranty. Its lip service. I recommend that you don't purchase as they clearly don't stand behind their products. Read more

These are exactly what I was hoping for. They fit together perfectly, easy assembly, and heavy duty! I purchased 3 for different sites. We switched to a new time keeping system on Ipads instead of the manual clocks that we have used for 20 years. After setting everything up we have been able to secure the Ipads at each location using the Tamper-Proof/Anti-Theft Kiosk. It's a nice-looking, adjustable height kiosk. The main irritation (also reported by others who bought this) is that the box holding the iPad wobbles at the top of the pole where the pivot/tilt assembly connects, giving it a flimsy feel. To resolve this, see my diagram. You will need to take the pivot assembly apart in order to get at the two screws responsible for eliminating the wobble. Those screws are only accessible from the underside of the assembly. I did this to avoid the hassle of sending it back only to get another like it. Seems that if this was done during the manufacturing process, it would save buyers a lot of headaches. Read more

This is a great stand. Heavy, solid base allows users to type on the iPad with little wobble. Plus, if you don't need/want the extra display rack - you can just not install it. The device enclosure has several adjustments so should accommodate almost any device. An iPad version 6 fits nicely. Read more
