These do not support 1500 watt devices as advertised. I have gone through 3 of the four that came in the package and all three have stopped working when I have 2 devices plugged in. the heater, most important one for the barn to keep my babies warm, has stopped working. Read more

SETUP AND PAIRING: Setting up these smart sockets was easy. After downloading the eWelink app from the Google Play store, I paired them without any hiccups. Connecting them to Alexa was seamless. 2. INDIVIDUAL CONTROL: The ability to control each outlet independently using Alexa is what drew me to these plugs. We have an outlet in the kitchen, that’s a nightmare to get to, that we use for small appliances. Not having to fumble around to unplug one to use another one is fantastic. 3. COUNTERINTUITIVE NAMING: The default naming—where “outlet 1” corresponds to the right socket and the “second” outlet is on the left—felt a bit counterintuitive. As someone accustomed to reading left to right. I’d probably adjust with time, but it was so simple to rename them when setting them up, that is what I chose to do. 4. COUNTERINTUITIVE INDICATOR LIGHTS: When an outlet is powered on, a red indicator light above it confirms its status. However, when it’s off, there’s no light at all. Personally, I expected green for active and red (or no light) for off. But hey, it’s a minor quirk, and I’ve adapted. 5. WIRELESS CONNECTION: I had no issue connecting these to our 2.4 GHz wireless connection, and have yet to have them drop out or lose connection with Alexa. I’ll update this review if things change. I’m using the QIACHIP 16A WiFi Dual Smart Socket Outlet Plug for controlling the ceiling lights in my classroom, and it has been a game-changer! It frees up my wall outlets, which is a huge plus in a packed high school class. The setup with the Ewelink APP was quick and seamless, allowing me to control the lights remotely or schedule them to turn on and off automatically. The dual socket feature is great for managing multiple devices at once, and I love that I can control each socket individually.
