So I tore my left rotator cuff over a year ago as a massage therapist I occasionally have issues with my shoulder, which I would expect to have. This works amazing to give me some comfort and a good therapeutic treatment. I definitely recommend this shoulder red light therapy I like the fact that I don’t have to depend on plugging it into a wall. It has a rechargeable cord works fantastic! Read more

I wanted this to work SO badly. I suffer with severe chronic shoulder pain after a cervical spine surgery years ago failed to fix the problem and it just gets worse. OTC pain meds don't work and I won't take opioids. Heating pad helps, my TENS unit helps, massage gun helps, but NOTHING makes it livable all day. Tried steroid shots and my weight skyrocketed while I barely got relief. I have been hoping for a miracle and hoped this would do it based on good reviews and questions I asked the AI bot. Not even close. :( I struggled for almost two hours trying to get this adjusted for an even and comfortable fit. Even though the page has pics of people wearing clothes the manual said to work effectively it had to be against the skin, so I got freezing cold while trying to get it to fit right. No matter what I couldn't accomplish it. Definitely NOT for a woman who isn't flat chested. Definitely NOT for narrow shoulders and narrow upper arms. Couldn't get it to adjust to where my upper arm and shoulder were simultaneously making even contact. It NEVER got to where the heat and vibration made it to the areas with the most pain. Even where it did, not even the highest settings felt like much at all. I got so upset while fighting with this thing and it hurt so much messing with it. I had a major anxiety attack and was in tears before I finally just gave up. Going to send it back. :( Read more

I have been experiencing shoulder pain for the last 4 months. I have had several physical therapy sessions and I have tried balms. While these methods may have helped, the pain is not completely resolved so I decided to give red light therapy a try. The Halidodo Red Light Therapy for Shoulder comes nicely packaged. The actual shoulder “shroud” is imbedded with 72 LED’s. Each LED has 3 diodes (beads) for a total of 216 beads. Some of the beads deliver red light at a wavelength of of 660nm and some deliver near infra-red light at a wavelength of 850nm. The shroud is also capable of delivering vibration. Red/Infra-Red Light Therapy: Large “+” and “-“ symbols denote the buttons to increase/decrease light intensity. Several different levels of intensity and pulse therapy can be selected. The lights can also be turned off for vibration therapy only. Vibration: Vibration cycles to different parts of the shoulder so that it is not constant on any 1 spot. Three levels of vibration intensity can be selected plus vibration can be turned off for light therapy only. Therapy can be set to 10 minutes, 20 minutes or 30 minutes with a timer button on the bottom of the control unit. An LED display on the control unit indicates total charging time but does not offer a countdown timer. LED level is indicated by L1, L2, L3, L4, L5 or Pulse (L6). Vibration Level is indicated by M1, M2, M3 or off (no M displayed). Battery level is also displayed. Instructions are available on a color illustrated card, in an instruction booklet and on the Amazon website. One thing that is not made clear is that the vibration levels are cycled from M1, M2, M3 or Off by the power button. There is no dedicated button for vibration like the + and – buttons for light level. None of instructions explain this. REPEATEDLY PUSHING POWER BUTTON CYCLES THROUGH VIBRATION LEVELS! Several of the website pictures show the unit in use over clothing. While it may be true that vibration works with clothing on, red light therapy should be performed with direct skin contact. This fact is not made clear in the instructions and is only alluded to in the FAQ (see my picture) RED LIGHT THERAPY REQUIRES DIRECT SKIN EXPOSURE (NOT OVER CLOTHES)! The unit does not feel heavy to me while I’m wearing it. Despite the illustrated instructions I found myself briefly perplexed when I tried to put it on. It also took some trial and error to learn how to adjust the strap for a secure, comfortable fit. Once I had the unit on my shoulder and ready to go, I found that the display was facing out on my shoulder, so I was unable to look at it directly. When I look at the display in the mirror the 2 looks like a 5 and the 5 looks like a 2. The manufacturer might want to consider redesigning the display to make it readable without a mirror while in use. There is no memory. So, when the unit is turned on, it defaults to L1 M1. Once you figure out your desired settings you will have to reset them each time you use the unit. Summary: The Halidodo Red Light Therapy for Shoulder is an affordable unit that provides different levels of light and vibration therapy. It lacks some bells and whistles like a countdown timer, removable (easy to read while using) control unit or settings memory. Read more

My upper arm has been hurting for months. I could actually feel a knot. I have always slept on my stomach with my right arm under my head. I have not been able to sleep on my stomach for months. And sleeping on my right side was painful, causing me to toss and turn all night. I have a red light belt for my back, but it is too big and awkward to use on my arm. When looking for one for my shoulder, I wanted one that cordless. No wires. I've had too many red light belts quit working unless you had the wire...just right. I also preferred one with something besides cold plastic going up against my skin. I am a firm believer in red light and have been using it consistantly for over a year. I got my shoulder belt 2 days ago. I've been using it as much as I can. (I've never had a bad side effect with red light, I use it till things are right!) The massage is a huge plus! Yesterday, my arm started loosening up and this morning when I woke up - I was on my stomach! And I had slept through the night without tossing and turning! Finally! A good night's sleep! I wish I hadn't waited so long to buy it. I've got it on now, love the massage! Feels awesome! Read more
