Worked like a charm!! I am using it with two other remotes in different places to turn off one light source --acts like a 4 way switch! They are easy to pair to the outlet also. Very Convenient needless to say. This remote uses a long life CR2032 3V Lithium Battery that is included which lasts around 6 yrs or longer with use & easy to replace when needed. Read more

Bought these to replace a (very) old equivalent that would trigger every time a truck with a cb radio would drive by. Or something. Never did figure it out exactly but my light would turn on randomly on the middle of the night. These don't have that problem. They are simple to use and do the thing. Read more
This is the 4th unit I have bought. This is the only brand I will buy. They work flawlessly every time. The button on the remote for turning on and off is big and gives a good click. The remote is small and fits well everywhere we have placed them. We have never had to replace a battery in any of our older units, so battery life is really good. I have never used the adhesive pad, because I want to be able to move them as needed. The remote is programmed directly to the unit you pair it to, so you can literally use as many as you want, and there will be no conflicts. My goal is to get several more for areas where the plug is difficult to reach. Read more
I loved this thing so much I bought another as soon as I plugged it in. Great for mounting near the bed for turning off a faraway lamp. Both were either already paired with their plugs, or else they paired automatically. I didn't have to follow the pairing directions, and they don't mix up with each other. The plug is small and doesn't block other outlets. The remote is small, the large single button is easy to find in the dark, it's functional and looks nice. No loop or keychain to hang it on a hook, but that's what double-stick tape is for. It's very lightweight, so the tape is holding fine. The only problem I have with it is, with the second one I ordered, I intended to control a pretty standard garage heater like you get from almost anywhere for $20-30 bucks. 1500w. It did the job for a day or two, then quit. Frustrating when pre-warming a room, and I only noticed it half an hour later when I did NOT come into a warm room. I unplugged and re-plugged it and it worked again. The second time it failed, it was right in front of me. I went to un-re-plug it again and it was really, really...REALLY hot. So the cutoff must be a safety feature. I'm grateful it did that instead of burning my house down! But lesson learned. No high wattage appliances. I can't seem to find any info in the packaging or the listing with a wattage limit to its capacity, but fyi, 1500 is above it! Do you like to get up and down to turn a light on or off? Me either! Well, these remote controll outlets are the answer, and they dont require any verbal instructions (if you know what i mean😊)!! Just the simple push of a button. All the lamps in my living room are connected to these remotes, normally one lamp per plug. Then the remote controllers are within easy reach on the side table. You could label or mark them to distinguish each controller for each lamp. They are also great for christmas lights and trees! I began with ordering just one for my bedroom. Then, three more for the living room. Then, two more for christmas lights. They're just like Lays potato chips....you cant have just one!! Read more
