We have an old espresso pot - probably 30 years. It's needed a new valve for a while. Because I didn't know the exact model name or even brand (it's worn off from the bottom of the pot), I had to measure the size of the valve I wanted to replace. Replacement was very easy- just unscrew the old one and screw in the new one- that's it. If you have a wrench or even a pair of pliers, it's really easy. The pot works great again.
