Thankfully there’s no screen damage or issues that I’ve found so far, it was delivered when it was raining and the bottom of the box was soaked, so it would’ve been difficult to send it back in the original box. I chose not to have it delivered and unboxed to a room of my preference and just did it myself, but that was an option for free, which I was surprised by, that would be great for someone who couldn’t do it themselves and it doesn’t cost anything extra. The picture is great, definitely worth the price. It was super easy to set up, you do need the Samsung SmartThings app which I already had from the tv I was replacing, and the free content is pretty cool too. I don’t mind the small remote, some of the other reviews complained about it being too small, but I think it’s a lot better than a big bulky remote and it’s very responsive. You can also use the app as a remote control, it works great. The sound seems pretty good as well. Overall, it’s a great tv for price, I paid under $300 for it and am very happy with it, definitely feels like I should’ve had to pay more for such a big, high quality tv. Read more

I just replaced my former Samsung TV with this Model. The has the same Beautiful 4K quality as we have come to enjoy with Samsung with this model being sleeker in design. Since I have wired the audio to my Klipcsh 7.1 surround sound system with optical cables I suffer no sound quality fall off. My only complaint is the remote control, it's too small an flimsy and difficult because of its size to maneuver through the apps. Read more

The TV is great, very clear picture and a perfect upgrade to my previous Samsung. Sound is great too even before I paired with my soundbar. I’m very impressed with how light the TV is and the sturdiness of the feet supports make me feel comfortable about keeping it on a stand instead of hanging it on the wall. I do like that there are many apps already loaded on the TV and that I can add my own. I’m hoping to add all of my apps to the TV that I use on Roku and hopefully no longer need that device. Now for the downside: The setup is a bit of a pain and that’s why the four stars. I wanted to be able to just plug in the TV and start watching it. But you can’t do anything without downloading an app on your phone, which I will probably never use. I don’t understand why you need an app if you have a remote, which is very small, by the way. The app is a plus for those who want it, but I couldn’t imagine my elderly parents would even keep the TV if they had to download an app just to get the TV to work. I already had a Samsung account, but that didn’t matter, I still had to go through several steps and acknowledgment pages before I could do anything. And then an update needed to be done which took about 10 minutes. I’m not a very tech savvy person so this setup was very frustrating for me. Once everything was set up I was able to enjoy the TV and hoping I will for years to come. It is a very good buy, you just need some patience before watching it. Read more

The media could not be loaded. 5-star review for the Samsung 65-Inch Class Crystal UHD CU8000F 4K Smart TV: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My Eyeballs Have Been Promoted to First Class I am officially ruined. I can never go back. This 65-inch Samsung masterpiece isn't just a TV; it's a portal to a dimension where everything is better-looking. My old 1080p TV, which I once thought was "pretty good," now looks like a potato-powered flip-book from the 1800s. Let's break down this life-changing rectangle of joy: The "MetalStream" Design First off, "MetalStream" sounds like a futuristic space-age alloy, and honestly, it might be. This thing is impossibly thin. When the box arrived, I was briefly convinced they forgot to put the TV in it. It's so sleek and minimal that it makes my entire living room look like it just got a promotion. My 2010-era entertainment center, which has the girth of a refrigerator, is now deeply embarrassed to be associated with it. The "Crystal" 4K Picture They call it "Crystal" 4K, and I think they mean it's powered by actual sorcery. The picture is so clear, it's almost too clear. * Pro: Watching a nature documentary on this is like being personally stalked by a jaguar. I saw a bead of sweat on a hummingbird's brow. * Con: I can now see every single pore, bad foundation match, and poorly-applied hair extension on the actors in my favorite shows. I now know which celebrities are lying about their age. The "Crystal Processor" is a truth serum for Hollywood. My dog spent the first 20 minutes barking at a dog in a commercial. He genuinely believed another dog was in the house. I had to comfort him. 10/10 for realism. "Endless Free Content" (A.K.A. The Productivity Killer) This is not a feature; it's a wonderful, glorious threat. Samsung TV Plus offers so much free content that my social life has evaporated. My "To-Do" list has been replaced by a "To-Watch" list that is now 400 hours long. I've discovered channels I never knew I needed, like "The 24/7 Bonfire Channel" and "Classic 90s Game Shows." Goodbye, responsibilities. Goodbye, sleep. I live here now. Alexa Built-in (My New Best Friend) I no longer have to search for the remote that my couch inevitably swallowed. I just talk to the air like a benevolent monarch. "Alexa, play that show with the dragons." "Alexa, what's the weather?" "Alexa, tell my boss I'm not coming in." It can't do that last one... yet. But it will dim my smart lights for me when I command it to "set the mood for maximum binge-watching," which is basically the same thing. Having someone (or something) finally listen to me is a 5-star experience in itself. Knox Security I don't know what kind of digital boogeymen are trying to hack my streaming queue, but I sleep soundly knowing my TV is a high-security digital fortress. Fort Knox has nothing on my Gilmore Girls marathon. My viewing habits are safe. Conclusion: This TV has single-handedly improved my quality of life, ruined all other screens for me, and convinced my dog we have ghosts. It's bright, it's scary-smart, and it's so beautiful I might just leave it my will. 5/5 Stars. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who is ready to permanently fuse with their sofa. Read more

Nice, bright picture, and great sound! I have had it for a week and am still finding new things/features about it. Integrated with my cable, without the usual hassle. Gave it my zip and cable service and bingo! Very happy with the purchase. I'd buy another in a heartbeat. If there is something I don't care for it is the remote. As others have written in reviews, it is a little hard to get the knack at first. Instructions are weak. It also doesn't SEEM like it will hold up, but that may be just my perception. Read more

Seems like great quality and am happy so far. Bought on Black Friday to replace a Samsung open box from Best Buy that would constantly kick me out of live TV. I will say I REALLY dislike the remote. It’s too sleek and small. Minimal buttons and no “nubs” to feel at night or having to constantly look at it while changing something. The smart aspect of logging in and setting up is pretty infuriating but my wife and I did it within an hour. Read more
