What I really like about this sweater is it is a tight knit. I have another wool sweater that is a loose knit and it makes it less warm and bulky. The color is a rich green, I did have to size up, I wear a size small and got a medium, and it fits perfectly. I did change the buttons and it makes the sweater look so very beautiful. I love the green color, which is what I'd call a kelly or a grass green and less bluish green than the photo depicts. Based on reviews I ordered up to a size medium because I wear a turtleneck underneath and I prefer a roomier fit.. I'm 5'3" and 120 lbs. I'm not busty and normally wear a small (or in an LL Bean an extra small) sweater. So I chose a medium for this one and am not disappointed. I also love the length. Due to my short height, I like sweaters that fall slightly below the waist. A bonus was that it arrived before Chrismas when originally it was supposed to come in January. Read more

I like this sweater a lot, but.I kinda wish had ordered an XL, instead of a L. I would normally wear a M. I just like my sweaters a little more relaxed. It does fit, just not as loosely as I would like. Also, it is a little shorter than I would like. ( just slightly below the waist of my pants.) I've only worn it once, so I can't comment on any issue with Pilling it might develop. It's got a nice tight weave and seems pretty warm. Overall, I think it was a good purchase. and it seems to be of good quality. I did dock one star for some messy button holes with loose yarn that are irritating when trying to unbutton. Read more

My daughter is thrilled with this sweater and stated that she'll wear it her whole life. She is 5'11" and long - armed and slender and the medium size fit her well- no one makes sleeves long enough for her, so she doesn't have that expectation! Read more

A terrific sweater. I took it to Italy and Spain, both cold places at the time. It kept me warm. I bought up one size to have bulk. It goes down over hips if you are short. I like everything about it, buttons, feel, and shape. Read more
