I love SAS sandals and shoes. I first started wearing white SAS shoes when I was a floor RN. This was many years ago and all the nurses wore SAS shoes. Then my Dad got them. Then my Husband. I didn’t start wearing SAS sandals until about 10 years ago. I wore the Mary Jane for years. This is my first time trying these sandals. I I can say is why did u wait so long. Most comfortable sandals on the market. No breaking in. I have a bad back and these sandals really help my back. I will buy more. I normally wear a size 9-91/2 but these sandals run wide and large. I wear an 81/2 in these sandals. I love the ease of the style to so easy to loosen or tighten these sandals. You can wear them pretty much any place. To me they are a great value. I highly recommend theses sandals and any SAS shoes or Sandals because the all all made so well. Will last for years and years Read more

After suffering a periprosthetic femur fracture and having considerable post surgical swelling in my foot as well, I was unable to get any shoes on this foot, especially since my other foot was normal size. This sandal worked well to resolve this issue because the two velcro straps could be opened completely to slip my swollen foot into making it was easy to use, which I could then secure the straps once it was in place. Because the swelling was so severe I ordered this sandal in extra wide which was excellent for my one swollen foot. The other shoe on my normal foot, even on the tightest possible position was loose, but I was able to be tightened it sufficiently that I did not walk out of the shoe while walking. I was grateful to find a solution to this problem as it was very difficult to go to my follow-up appointments at the orthopedic doctors office for X-Rays, wearing hospital socks, which made it difficult and uncomfortable walking on hot, pavers & asphalt. Had it rained it would have made this situation even worse. I have been purchasing other styles of SAS shoes and sandals for many years & can attest that they are well made using quality materials & that they do hold up well overtime. While I will most likely be unable to use these sandals when my foot/feet are no longer swollen, I like them well enough to consider purchasing them at a later date when I can buy my proper size. This shoe is extremely comfortable as the foot bed is well cushioned and the leather is very soft. SAS products are not inexpensive but worth every penny as they are well made and made in the U.S.A. (& therefore have consistent sizing), comfortable & last for years. Read more

I have weird short wide feet with high arches, so it's hard to find comfy shoes that fit well. These do the trick. It would be lovely if I could buy less pricey shoes, but for someone with an odd foot size/shape, these shoes are well made and comfy. Read more
