I don't like giving bad reviews, so I'm gonna throw up 3 stars. But this game is surprisingly bad. It is as though they took Returnal (obvious influences from Returnal in this game) and stripped away every last thing that made it fun. I am still on my first run. I've been picking it up and continuing it for a few days now. I can't die. It's wildly easy. My health got down once and I was super pumped thinking "Thank goodness it's almost over" but then I rejuvinated completely on death. I'd forgotten I had purchased the extra life thing. Been playing a couple hours since and just no end in sight. Read more

Game was okay and has some of a little potential at first, but what takes it away is the fact of lack of checkpoints, health and limited upgrades, and if you fail you'll have to start all over from the beginning of the level! smh Don't know why game creators still put that in games now days, it's 2025! smh. But yeah this game was a no for me. Read more

Scar-Lead is the perfect example of a 6.5/10 game. It feels like a modern take on a ps2 game for all the good and bad that comes with that. Few enemy types with just modified weaponry, a hand full of usable weapons for yourself, a lack of data such as damage numbers or stat buffs, etc. However its gameplay loop, while a bit too long, can be very enjoyable as you evade and parry enemy fire as you run around the room taking out higher priority targets to save your precious health/armor. Scar-Lead's biggest issue is simple: its a $30 dollar game being sold at $60. Im enjoying my time with it but in a world where Nightreign also just came out its hard to justify a game thats "its alright" at $60. Definitely watch gameplay before purchasing. There will be some people, myself included, that enjoy this game but there will be alot who hate it as well. Read more

There is nothing redeeming about this game. Absolutely nothing. The moment I started playing, I knew I had made a mistake. Everything about it feels unfinished, uninspired, and downright painful to experience. The Bad – - Game Design? Nonexistent. Level layouts are lazy, going from square room to rectangle room with dull color shifts—grey, blue, red. - Controls? Generic. Nothing engaging, nothing responsive, just a flat, uninspired mess. - Soundtrack? Forgettable. No personality, no excitement just background noise. - Loading Times? Unacceptable. Slow and frustrating for a game like this, adding to the misery. - Weapons? Lame. Bland, boring, and ineffective, upgrades seem to do nothing. - Animations? Awful. Stiff, awkward, and low-quality, making everything feel worse. - Story? Laughably Bad. “Lost my memory? Read all these boring files?” The narrative is lazy and uninspired. - Bosses? Disastrous. No creativity, just another chore to suffer through. - Repetitive Beyond Belief. Play five minutes, and you’ve played the entire game. Absolutely no variety in enemies or gameplay. - Price? $60?! This should’ve launched at $20, and even that would be too generous. Final Verdict This game is so bad it’s bad, there’s nothing remotely fun or redeemable about it. The developers should be ashamed of releasing something so barebones and uninspired. I wouldn’t keep this game in my collection even if it were free. Avoid at all costs. Read more

Did you like Returnal? Strip down everything about that game to barebones and put an anime girl in as the protagonist, that is Scar Lead Salvation. You spend 99% of the game fighting the same enemies in bland rooms that are identical other than a palette swap. The graphics are PS2/PS3 quality but without the art direction. This game is not worth $60. If you have not already played Returnal spend half the money and get a much better game. Read more
