This is super well made for the cost and easy to put on because it does have a zipper under the right armpit. I had to have my daughter help me tie up the back. My only gripe is that I have a somewhat longer torso so this corset left my stomach exposed. Must say this might become one of my favorite closet pieces, it comes pre laced (in silk ribbons that do untie rather quickly) but it comes laced the RIGHT way, super easy to tighten and put on without help, i wish the ribbon was either thicker or a different material but you are able to remove it and change it to whatever ribbon you want.
