Scarlet Darkness Women Renaissance Corset Vintage Button Down Corduroy Pirate Waistcoat Vest

This vest is so beautiful! The fabric is a thick corduroy and it is lined. I really like the lace detailing along the top as it adds a cute femenine touch to it. It is sewn very well. It is very comfortable and looks great over blouses or can jazz up a plain dress. It also looks very cute with a skirt or trousers. As far as the fit goes I think it is meant to be form fitting. I typically am somewhere between a large and extra large in tops in this brand with the extra large always being a bit loose. Being that I was going to wear things under this vest I went with the extra large and it is form fitting on me though it is a tiny bit loose in the arm pit area. I can fit it over other clothing just fine and though it feels a bit snug it is not too tight or restricting. If you look at the model in the pictures it is form fitting on her. I would say that this is meant to fit more like a corset and corset is in the description. If you prefer a looser fit for your vests or plan to wear thicker blouses or sweaters under it, I would suggest maybe going up a size in this one, otherwise I would order your normal size. Great fit and style! I think the corduroy added some charm to it, making it more unique than most options. The simple lace added a nice touch as well! I could tell the fabric was thick enough to be good quality. The curving gives it a very nice shape! I think it could be used on sooo many kinds of costumes that are renaissance, medieval, pirate, and/or fantasy, but the fabric and style definitely works as a top layer to a normal outfit too! It was a little big on me even though i followed the size chart. The quality of the product is good and it will last longer than expected. No cheap material. The product don’t stretch which might be good for some. And it’s very thick material. Read more

Its Scarlet Darkness, why wouldn't I like it? Amazon doesnt offer pay in 4 anymore with paypal so I dont buy as much as I used to but if youre looking for nice pieces or something for a cosplay or a con then SD is great.
