My husband has always had a thick, full head of hair, but as he’s gotten older a few things have changed. His hair has thinned out, he has less overall density, and he’s been wearing it a little longer. That combination can make hair look even flatter and more sparse. We’ve tried different styling products, but a lot of them tend to make the hair clump together, which actually shows more scalp instead of creating fullness. Plus, many heavy gels or creams don’t feel great on the skin or scalp. This sea salt texturizing spray has been a helpful option. It’s not a magic fix, but it definitely improves the look of volume and texture. The way it works is that sea salt spray lightly coats the hair and adds a bit of grit and dryness, which helps individual strands separate instead of sticking together. That creates more lift at the roots and gives hair a thicker, fuller appearance overall, especially for finer or thinning hair. It’s also great for a more natural, slightly tousled look without feeling greasy or weighed down. My husband has been able to use it to get better shape and body without that “product buildup” effect. Overall, this is a simple, effective styling tool for anyone dealing with thinner hair or wanting more texture and volume. Read more

Morning light. A half-open window. Somewhere between the coffee cooling and the day beginning, you decide not to overthink it. This is the easy kind of order. A few quiet sprays and your hair falls into place like it’s been there before—textured, relaxed, unconcerned with perfection. There’s body without stiffness, volume without effort, and a faint suggestion of salt air clinging to the edges. It works whether your hair is damp from the shower or already dry and defiant, bending to your will without ever looking styled. What you notice most is what isn’t there. No crunch. No shine begging for attention. Just a lived-in look that feels earned, as if you stepped away from a long walk instead of a bathroom mirror. Some days call for precision. This one calls for movement. — Details: Can be applied to wet or dry hair Adds texture, body, and natural volume Sea salt and clay for light control without stiffness Vegan, paraben-free formula suitable for daily use Read more

This is a nice spray by Jack the Barber. My husband and I both have used this and like that the scent smells really nice but it is not an overwhelming scent. It doesn't give our a hair a crunchy, hard feeling like some hair sprays do which is a relief. This really does help with texture and volume, I spray it on my hair and/or roller brush and brush through it to style and it gives that bounce volume that I like. It isn't a hair spray to me at least from my experience, that holds the hair in exact place but it does make the hair look thicker and healthier. Bottle is easy to pump and spray. Can recommend. I know this sea salt spray mentions it is for men, but I wanted to use it for myself. The bottle is a good size and the spray top works wells. I like that it doesn’t smell like men’s cologne or has a strong smell. It has a light scent and doesn’t leave your hair heavy or oily. I sprayed it on dry and damp hair, but I didn’t really notice my hair change in texture. I do have longer hair so I would have to use a lot of this to get the desired effect. This seems more for shorter hair. It is decently priced, but it didn’t give me any texture or volume. Read more

I’ve been using this Jack The Barber Sea Salt Spray on my 7-year-old son’s hair and I’m really impressed. The scent is clean and fresh without being overpowering, which I love for a kid product. It gives his hair nice texture and light hold—just enough to look styled but still soft and natural. What I appreciate most is that it’s very forgiving. You can spray it in, tousle with your hands, and it’s basically impossible to mess up. No stiffness, crunch, or greasy feel. It creates that easy, lived-in look that works great for school days and casual outings. The formula feels gentle and non-irritating, and knowing it’s paraben-free gives extra peace of mind. A little goes a long way, and it works well on fine kid hair without weighing it down. Overall, this is a great everyday styling spray—especially if you want something simple, natural-looking, and easy to use. I’d definitely purchase again. Read more

So I will say that I thought this was an over all spray and I sprayed all over my hair once I got out of the shower. This product left my hair crinkly and stiff from the spray. Why am I giving it 5 stars?! Well for my son’s hair it works great. I can spray this on my comb and style his hair and it works well. It holds it shape pretty well. He is young so he plays with his hair and it messes up but that’s not the products fault. I like how this styles his hair but isn’t so stiff that it can’t be moved around. Great product for kids. My husband isn’t a fan because it doesn’t keep his hair stiff enough. But for young kids, this is exactly what I was looking for. Read more

This is a sea salt texturizing spray designed to add grip and natural-looking volume for everyday hair styling. I got this because I wanted that effortless, slightly messy texture without heavy waxes or sticky products. I’ve been using it on damp and dry hair, mostly for quick styling, and it adds noticeable texture while still feeling lightweight. I like that it gives hold without stiffness and helps my hair look fuller. On very dry days, though, I do need a bit of conditioner or leave-in to balance it out. Overall, it’s a solid sea salt spray for casual, textured styles and works well when you want definition without weighing your hair down. Read more

This is a very nice styling hair spray. It’s marketed towards men but it can definitely be unisex. It provides a nice amount of hold without giving you the “80s crunch”. My hair still feels soft and natural after using it. It has a slight masculine type smell that I’m not a huge fan of but it’s not strong and isn’t a deal breaker. Overall, I think this is a nice spray from a trusted brand at an affordable price. Read more
