We’ve gone through a rough cycle of trying to find an air conditioner that works, ordering and returning. Absolutely awful, but this was exactly what we’re looking for. I actually really like that it blows upward, which is perfect for our bedroom so it’s not blowing in our faces. A common issue we’ve found with OTHER air conditioners is that once it reaches set temp, it would turn off completely. Not just the compressor, like the whole thing is off and doesn’t come back on. This air unit does turn off fan and compressor when it reaches temp, but it comes back on when needed to keep the right temp. Sound level is what you expect for this kind of air conditioner. We like the white noise of it so it works well for us. We haven’t had a need to move it so can’t speak to it being portable or not, but it seems like it would be? Overall, good choice for air conditioner, better value for money spent, and perfect for the bedroom. Read more

1st was d.o.a.. Box was beat up on both. The replacement works well, but it looks like someone had it prior as all the protection film is gone and packing in box was a mess. Blows cold and strong for what it is. Be aware you have to drain the back via the plug on occasion unless you can plumb the small tube included to a lower drain point. Read more

I purchased this about a month or so ago and I've had no complaints! It keeps our bedroom at such a comfortable temperature and I barely have to crank it up. It's honestly been a wonderful investment. The noise level is about the same as any other air conditioner unit and it's controls are simple and easy to use. It's portable enough to transport in and out of storage in our apartment, though it is on the heavier side. All in all well worth the purchase! Read more

the only thing I wasn't sure about when I ordered this is if it was auto-evaporate. after just a few days, I decided to find out. It works just fine without haveing to drain it manually. my apartment is small but the windows in the two rooms are very large and it gets very hot in this building. I tried using only 1 unit in my living room but it just couldn't handle it. once I got this one set up in my bedroom, it's been very comfortable in my apartment. my 2 units seem to work together to control the temp and I love it! it's not quiet, but it does the job it's meant to do.
