This is a wonderful clock to have. Yes it doesn’t have all of frizzles and diesels. That’s some of the other clocks have but this is one that is easy to operate perfect timing. Lightweight and easy to read. Alarm and time setting controls easy to use. Love the USB charging port. The only problem is, it is extremely bright. The neighbors 3 doors down will hear this on its loud setting. I'm more than a heavy sleeper and this yanks me out of bed like tractor. It's got low and high volume settings and doesn't require a stupid usb port , having a long normal wall plug and 2 AAA batteries for back up. The batteries don't operate clock but will keep time and alarm settings. Not sure if alarm will go off on just batteries so I'll have to test that. Will update if needed. If your like me and just needs NORMAL alarm that don't require a app or usb port this is your basic alarm clock. 100% recommend and garentee you will hear it. The first one I got was defective. It would not power on when plugged in. I returned it without issue and was sent a replacement. Second one was just fine. Simple to set time, I like that it has a red display. It isn’t too large but still able to see it from across the room. I purchased it so I could tell what the time was in the middle of the night without having to turn on a light or expose myself to blue light. I have a very difficult time sleeping and any other color display would be too stimulating and keep me from sleeping. I have to take medication at particular times during the night. I don’t use the alarm function but I do like that if I needed to, it has the ability to have a softer or louder alarm option. It also has a battery backup option. Simple, effective at telling time without being too bright or stimulating in the middle of the night. Bonus, my husband can see the time without looking at his phone and lighting up our bedroom. So nice not to have that happening anymore. Hopefully it lasts a long time. Read more
