This sweater is absolutely stunning in person & it looks amazing on. It has a cropped slightly oversized fit but it doesn’t look boxy or sloppy. Quite the opposite, it has a very classy look to it w large gold buttons & a deep v neck. I’m typically a medium in tops but decided to size down to a small after checking the size chart measurements & seeing that the model was in a medium. I’m so glad I sized down bc I adore the slightly oversized but not boxy fit. This cardigan is luxurious looking & feeling. It’s a great medium weight making it perfect for the colder months & it’s quite soft. It also felt slightly scratchy, but I think that will go away the more it’s worn. But if it doesn’t I’ll be sure to edit this review. I can’t wait to wear this to work with some highwaisted pants or a highwaisted skirt bc it hits at the perfect spot for highwaisted bottoms. It meets the waistline nicely giving you a clean & pulled together look. The color isn’t a true red, but it’s also not a deep red so I think I’ll be able to get away with pairing my deeper true red heels w it for a perfectly pulled together look. This cardigan sweater is very well made from cashmere & feels like it will keep me warm in my office during the frigid winters here in WNY bc of its weight. Honestly I love everything about this sweater & I love the way it looks on me in the small. I don’t think I would’ve loved the medium as much as I do the fit of the small. I should have read the description more closely, but I based my decision to order this cardigan on their title which stated it is cashmere cardigan.... in reality it is 90% wool and only 10% cashmere... As soon as I unpacked this cardigan I realized it is not cashmere, because it is very heavy and even though it seems soft it is not a soft cashmere like feel, but more like wool. If I do not base my review on the "cashmere" aspect I would say it is a very well made wool cardigan with very well crafted buttons and attention to details. Little gems like this is why I keep buying on Amazon. I didn't really know what I was going to get, but someone somewhere posted a picture of a cropped sweater with high-waisted jeans, and I had to have one. This is one is adorable. Is it really cashmere? I don't know (I don't think so). But it's definitely warm. And thick. The knit is tight and gorgeous. I've been down this road with gold buttons on Amazon sweaters before, and they are usually awfully gaudy and overly designed. For me, the buttons make the sweater. They're the right pop of color, the right kind of shine. I got a large because I wanted this to fit a little boxy and loose - I survived the 90s, my crop top days are over. It looks as fantastic as I imagined with high waisted jeans. It's a classy, expensive looking take on a trend. Read more
