The Best Features: Portability and Adjustability The standout feature here is undoubtedly its design. The reverse-folding mechanism is brilliant, allowing the tripod to shrink down to a mere 16.5 inches, which fits easily into my backpack. At just over 700g, it's so lightweight you barely notice you're carrying it. This is the "take it anywhere" tripod I was hoping for. The versatility is another major plus. It comes with everything you need to get started: a solid phone clamp and even a Bluetooth remote. The standard 1/4"-20 screw means I can also mount my small camera or a light, making it a true "one for all" tool. Adjusting the height is a breeze, extending all the way up to 67 inches, and the ability to change the angle of each of the three legs individually is great for setting up on uneven surfaces. The Catch: Weight vs. Stability Here is the trade-off that comes with such a lightweight design. While the aluminum alloy construction feels durable and rust-resistant, the tripod's lack of heft means it doesn't feel as solidly planted as heavier models. It holds my phone securely, and for indoor use, selfies, or vlogging in calm conditions, it's perfectly fine. Pros: -Very lightweight and easily portable -The legs have several locking positions, providing more options for “lower angle” shots -Small enough to put in smaller spaces like our podcast room, or more discreet/difficult to reach spots Cons: -Can’t twist the middle rod, so if I need to rotate the camera I have to rotate the entire tripod itself -Not super rugged, pretty cheap material that may break easily Overall, it’s a neat tool. I think it will be good for filming social media videos and podcasts, particularly because it is so small and lightweight.
