I feel like it's helping me breath better in the mornings. I use to have a hard time in the mornings. Just seemed so hard to breath for some reason. I have never been a smoker so not sure why mornings were so hard. But I have had better mornings since taking this. I've given one pill crushed in some yogurt to my 9-year-old son who has autism and has some fidgety behaviors that may come as a result of the autism, but more likely from his ADHD medication. The doctor recommended this product. I also looked online and it seems families have had some luck with this product. It might be a little too early, but my son still plays with/twirls his hair and plays with his lips throughout the day -- nothing destructive, but it's like he NEEDS to twirl his hair or play with his lips. We've tried thinking putty, which helps to give him something to do with his hands (it's like silly putty). He's getting to an age where he doesn't want "toys" at his desk and not really stand out from the others. I'll update if he improves. I haven't really noticed a change yet. The pill smells and he usually wants to gag while eating it. He can swallow soft gel caps, but this pill is like powder coated and large, so it's easier for my son if it's crushed. He can't swallow large gel caps comfortably yet as well. UPDATE 10/29/16: the level of twirling his hair and touching his lips has reduced. He still occasionally does these things, but not as constantly as before. I'll continue using this product and if my doc recommends a higher dosage I'll try it. UPDATE 2 11/28/16: The doctor recommended giving no more than 3,000mg. My son would never take that much medicine because these pills taste horrible to him. So I give him two crushed pills now at 1,200mg total a day. He still plays with his hair, but as I stated above, it's lessened a bit since starting this supplement. The doctor said this supplement has helped people with OCD behaviors. I think there's been some benefits so I teeter between 3 and 4 stars. UPDATE 3 05/20/17: I went back to 600mg because the pill is not tasty and he still can't swallow it well (so I'm still crushing it in yogurt). He doesn't do any of the fidgeting anymore so maybe it has helped him. UPDATE 4 06/12/18: I quit giving this supplement because it really didn't produce any consistent results for my son over time. The few times it seemed like his behaviors were improving were always short lived. This product just didn't work well for us at this time -- mostly because the pills are gross tasting and he can't swallow the tablets as-is. Read more
