Cheaper and Healthier than Cocaine

Bethany WillisJuly 5, 2013

These little guys are a great, natural pick-me-up. The tablets dissolve slower than some other brands, which has got to help some with absorption, and no one is going to stab you for a bottle of vitamins. Read more

Great B12 Product

HuskerTechGuyJuly 26, 2009

I have tried several sublingual B12 products and this is clearly the best one. The two coenzymated forms of vitamin B12 are great for anyone having difficulty absorbing B12 and not wanting to take those monthly B12 shots. Amazon's reduced price for subscriptions to the vitamin are an added bonus. Read more

Methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin have different functions thus providing a total solution

Business ManDecember 23, 2015

Hydroxocobalamin is a natural form of B12, attached to a hydroxyl group and if your body easily converts hydroxocobalamin to the active forms of B12 then this may be all you need to supplement a B12 deficiency. However, for those who need help in the conversion process or have methylation or neurological dysfunction then methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin will likely be required. The European Journal of Clinical Nutrition concluded that the best way to address a B12 deficiency is the combination of the active forms MeCbl and AdCbl. Why? 1. The active coenzyme forms of B12, methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin bypass usual mechanisms of absorption that rely on intrinsic factor. 2. The combination is effective in addressing both the neurological and haematopoietic pathways. Methylcobalamin is found in the cytosol of cells and interacts with an enzyme called methionine synthase; a critical enzyme involved in DNA synthesis and may be particularly useful for individuals with impaired methylation capacity. Adenosylcobalamin is the mitochondrial form of the B12 vitamin found in cellular tissues and interacts with an enzyme called methylmalonyl CoA mutase, a metabolic enzyme, and may be useful for those with impaired energy production. Methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin have different functions thus providing a total solution for those with B12 deficiency. Read more

Seems To Work Well

Fred 123February 10, 2011

I have noticed no major difference but I have only been taking it for a month or so, and I do so many things to stay healthy. I like the ingredients, the price, the apparent quality and the taste. Read more

These are great.

NaomiApril 6, 2014

We live in a small town. Even when I can get the brands I prefer, the prices here are pretty steep. I just ordered Source Naturals B1 (thiamine) this morning from Amazon because my current understanding is that it's better to take all the B's. I love Amazon. Read more

These things are great - I noticed an immediate improvement after taking them ...

yassi331December 6, 2014

I take these daily as I have a severe b12 deficiency & because I travel a lot, I am not always able to get in a regular appointment for my b12 shot. These things are great - I noticed an immediate improvement after taking them once, and now, I most definitely notice a difference if I forget to take them. I've tried a few other brands, but did not notice such a vast improvement like I have with Source Naturals. No complaints other than the taste is a bit sweet, but it dissolves under 5 minutes. Bottle is tiny and able to take it everywhere! Read more
