This product is great, the quality from spiderweb is amazing. When we apply to my husband's back it lasts for at least the week before the stickiness it starts to loosen, once applied it is basically forgotten, giving him the relief from his back pain that he needs to go on with his day to day functions. It fits any size with the elasticity of the material. Read more
While this does work at alleviating back pain, I found that it wasn't worth the cost. I was able to get the same positioning with four strips of kinesiology therapy roll tape and that worked just as well. The adhesive, stretch, and comfort is comparable to other kinesiology therapy tapes that I have used. The cost is just too high for me. With a standard roll, I can "build" this same application 4 or 5 times (without measuring, length will vary a bit). That's a cost of $3 or less per application -- with some brands it's considerable less. With this Spidertech Professional Pre-Cut Cotton Kinesiology Tape for Lower Back Pain and Support, it costs nearly $10 per application. All of that said, if you're unfamiliar with the application of kinesiology therapy tape or you don't mind spending more money for the ease, these are worth trying. I find it quite helpful both for basketball and for a long day of pulling weeds. I feel comfortable giving these 4 stars for quality and ease, but the cost seems unnecessarily high. I still don't think it's fair to go down to three stars. 3.5 stars Read more
I didn't want to wear a belly band under my scrubs at work so this was a nice very low profile option. It helped keep me comfortable in late pregnancy. Applied very easily and lasted for multiple days in a row. Read more
Utilized these during my pregnancy to help ease some of the pressure and pain I was having, one of the best purchases I made, very well worth it! Read more
I regularly use k tape and this was my first time trying this brand and also this pre-cut variety. The tape arrived nicely packaged in a box and was in perfect condition. There are 4 pieces included, each separated by a sheet of paper (which is I assume is so they don't somehow stick together). The tape applies well (assuming clean/dry skin) and is durable/stays put well. I have not showered in it but I have slept in it. It does provide good relief - like something is "holding" your lower back. I like that the guesswork is taken out as compared to single pieces. I like the tan color - it is in a place doesn't doesn't typically get much public exposure but the tan color is not seen through clothes. Finally, it is best if you have someone help you apply on your lower back. Since only 4 sheets are included and it is fairly pricey, having a second person eliminates the chance of messing up. This KT tape is precut for use on your lower back. The same patterns can be obtained using traditional KT tape, but this is supposed to be easier and more convenient. Issues that I had with this tape are that no instructions are included. They do not even include a photo of it in use in the package. The straps are numbered, but if you are a KT tape novice this is only moderately helpful. I am used to using KT Tape, so I was able to make it work. Personally, I prefer individual straps as I find it is easier to work with 1 strip at a time rather than several that can end up getting stuck to one another while applying. Read more
I ordered these to use for pregnancy back pain hoping they would make a difference on my aching back especially on those days that I have to be more active. All in all, I really like this tape. I was impressed that it didn't leave any sticky residue and was pretty easy (and painless) to remove. I have not had that same experience with other tapes. It also felt very lightweight and I barely noticed it was there other than the slight pull/tension feeling on my skin/muscles. A few things to be aware of (and my reasoning for only giving this 4 stars) are: • it is hard to apply by yourself - I had my husband apply it for me (who has not used k tape before) and he had no issues doing so • it is expensive for routine use, but seems helpful for short-term usage such as after a mild injury or needing more support doing specific exercises. I was able to wear it for several days (even with showering) and it seemed to hold up well • I am not sure how much relief this actually provided for me for my back pain as I paired it with other tapes in other areas. I did find great relief with the combination that I tried. I will try it again by itself and see how it helps (or doesn't help). Read more
I found these to be a waste of money. I use Kinesiology tape on my lower back and thought these pre-cut strips would be convenient. While they might be good for when someone else is applying it to your back, I found self-application to be difficult. With my normal kinesio-tape, I cut it into strips and apply to my back without an issue. This pre-cut strip turned out to be too big and unwieldy. The tape ended up folding over itself and not sticking to my back. Just a waste from my own personal experience. I went back to my normal tape where I cut the strips ,y self. Read more
