The package is designed well is very light weight. Something that impressed me early on was the length of the cord, as it will rival a vacuum cleaner's length. It is very easy to use this device, as you just add water and cleaning solution, and you press the on button. That's it! You're now ready to go and start cleaning. There is a reinforced gasket for the dirty water side, as you really don't want that coming out by mistake. It comes with 2 tips, and the cleaning solution, so you don't have to spend extra money. The amount of water it uses is also up to the operator, as I found just little spritzes were most effective for me. You could also just shoot it out at a constant rate if you wanted to. The 2 tips are designed for deep cleaning, and moisture removal. I used them as I wanted to, but I found were both effective. Not bad. It cleans the spot. This is definitely for spots and not for cleaning the entire carpet. Water/cleaner solution releases at a very slow rate. You don't actually realize it's releasing until you look underneath the hand piece while you're using it. Suction to pull up the water is weak. You'll mostly just end up letting it dry as-is. In my case, it got the entire spot in one try. The second one, it got most of it, but it's going to need another round of cleaning. Read more

Bought it cause we have two dogs and two cats. No dog door. This has helped clean up after the animals very nicely. Plus helps clean up after the kids too! Bought this cause of the other reviews. The suction works great! Very easy to carry around, pounds when full of water. Has not fallen apart or broken out of the many many uses. Doesn't leave a smell. Read more

It works great when it works. I have noticed the vacuum suction works great for a few minutes, then just stops. I have to turn the unit off and on to get the vacuum to start working again. Read more

I don’t know how much cleaner to use for a small spot but seems like I have to spray another cleaner on it to make it smell good. It doesn’t seem to suck up water enough to where it feels close to dry. Still feels soaking wet. Read more
