This is a nice foam gun. It's all metal except for the handle. It has a control knob which is the whole reason for using a gun as opposed to just a can of foam. The knob allows you to control the amount of foam coming out of the gun. You can dial it all the way down for filling small gaps like when installing windows, or open it up for shooting bigger areas. All in all it's a nice gun to use. I have other guns and they have the basket where the foam can attaches coated in Teflon, the rest of the gun is bare metal. This whole gun is coated in Teflon. Teflon makes cleaning the gun a lot easier. After you are done using the gun you need to run foam cleaner through the gun to clean out all the foam. Sometimes some foam gets stuck to the outside of the gun. Coating the whole gun in Teflon makes cleaning the outside of the gun much easier Read more

This is SO much better than using those spray foam cans with the attached straw. The control is better, the length of the tube is much longer so you can more easily get into those tight corners, and by using a foam gun cleaner it is much easier to keep the guts clean so that you can reuse it easily. I do keep a blob of foam on the end of the tip and let it harden to protect it, and then when it's time to spray some more it's very easy to clean off that blob and go right back to work. Read more

I got this to have one like my friends. I used to have to borrow it often. The professional cans of expanding foam are often better value but you need the foam gun for it. This works, is adjustable, easy to install the cap and easy to flush when done. You do need to get the can of flush to make sure it isn't sitting to long with foam in the barrel. It doesn't take much to clean and even comes with nozzle attachments which are plastic. The grip isn't as good as my friends is, but his was also a lot more expensive than what this goes for.
