Backpacks are so much easier to carry than shoulder bags, so that already gives this one a leg up. I love the quality of the leather, it looks great and should last a long time. I LOVE anything leather, well, good quality leather that is. This bag definitely ticks the box for leather quality, especially at this price point. I love that it has so many pockets and a place for everything. I am not as big a fan of the inner liner. I would have preferred something a little less utilitarian and a little more aesthetically pleasing. It has a rather large laptop pocket, so even the larger laptops fit easily. I am not as big a fan of how the side pocket with the elastic. I would have preferred a drawstring or just a regular pocket. The straps are nice and wide with a decent amount of padding, making this comfortable to carry on longer trips. This is hands down the nicest backpack I've ever owned. Not only because of the leather and elegant look, but the construction and quality top to bottom is off the charts. The leather is flawless and smooth, the seams and zippers are perfection, no stray threads sticking out or getting caught. The water bottle pocket is night and tight. Plenty of pockets and storage space, this is so much more than a business/laptop bag, there's enough room to make this an overnight bag too. The padded backrest is very nice, the straps feel great, and the carry handle is thick and secure. I love it! I was looking for a new, dressier backpack to transport my work laptop to the office and back, and this works very well for that purpose. It even fits my 16" Macbook without any trouble, which is great. There are lots of helpful pockets and compartments for organizing everything I need, with a separate area for a laptop at the back. The look does remind me of Y2K trends, but it's also pretty classic overall. You can tell that it's well made and higher end, with a clean look.
