This is a very nice looking extra large backpack!! It has great pockets and is perfect to use as your underseat bag when traveling. It looks like a high end backpack and has nice padded straps. Really nice bag. Leather is incredibly rigid. Plenty of space to hold computer, personal items and cloths. I like the enlarged front space. It’s large but easy to carry. Haven’t gone on a plane yet but don’t anticipate a problem. Keeping it out of the rain unlike other materials. Not going to worry about it. Zippers appear very durable. This backpack has changed my life. Before, I was just a guy. Now, I'm a guy with a ridiculously nice leather backpack. It's so well-made, I'm convinced it will outlive me and become a treasured family heirloom. My 17.3" laptop, which is basically a portable television, fits perfectly, along with enough snacks to survive a minor apocalypse. The other day, I'm pretty sure I saw a briefcase give my backpack a jealous glare. It is a heavy bag, but very heavy duty. Genuine leather. Solid stitching. Not the right choice for ultralight campers, but it will last a very long time. Got tired of the cloth ones ripping every year. Very happy with this bag. Read more
I bought this to travel on airlines as my "personal item" and it worked perfectly (American Airlines). I needed something big enough for my 17" Katana laptop and it fit perfectly with a little room to spare. I love all the pockets and storage areas. I'll own this thing forever. A few reviews mentioned clothing getting stained. I never had this problem (I did store 2 days worth of cloths in the main compartment). I DID HOWEVER, test this first by shoving a king size white (older) bedsheet in the same compartment for 2 days first. Not a single stain. The zippers needed no break-in. Worked great from the start. Top quality leather, craftsmenship, and zippers. What else can you ask for. Plus it looks GREAT!!! Read more
