This is my dog's favorite toy! He loves this. It lasts about 3 or 4 hours but that is to be expected for most of these types of toys. If there is no reward, the dog won't care about it! My dog is a very big one-year-old black lab who has so much pent up puppy energy that this toy will last him several hours and after he's done (and the treat is gone!), he is satisfied for at least another several hours. He usually takes a nap after he conquers this awesome toy! Great toy and hours of fun. It shouldn't replace the time that we spend with our pet! :) Read more

We have three of these in our house because there's always a war over the Starmark toys! The Bento is by far one of my favorites and theirs. Unlike the double-sided Everlasting Treat ball, you only need to put a treat in one side of this. - but you can fill the other side with tiny treats of all different flavors - which is what keeps them digging at it. Dogs are gamblers at heart, so they'll keep going to see what the 'new' treat is - what's their "jackpot" going to be. The dental Starmark is a great one to put right-side up in the Bento, but you can also invert one of the regular Everlasting treats for a more difficult (and longer-lasting) puzzle stimulation. Hint: Do follow the instructions and use your finger to wet the edge of the treat before trying to insert on an angle. It's a very very tight fit the first few times and do allow it to rest (dry) for a few moments before you give it to your dog so it can dry completely. This gives it every opportunity to be as challenging as possible for your dog - which make sure it's as mentally (and physically) stimulating. Read more

I have a “problem child” 8 month old lab who I cannot keep in a kennel at all while I am gone. She has broken out of every kennel I have had her in even with padlocks on the doors.... I purchased this chew treat toy and gave it to her in her kennel the day we received it before I left the house and She was so occupied by this treat toy that she didn’t try to escape her kennel at all that same day or the next! I am so impressed because other treat dispensing toys and Kong’s with peanut butter have not kept her occupied like this ever before. She looks forward to going into the crate because she knows she will get this toy now! Strongly recommend!!!! Read more

Dogs love this toy. They go nuts over the treat inserts but they're powerful chewers so the treats don't last too long and they're a bit pricey for the time they last. The orange chew ball thing is very durable thougg Read more

I have a very active cattle dog who needs something to do for hours each day. This Bento ball with an embedded treat is just the thing to keep him busy! I have purchased at least a half dozen of them, (he will eventually chew it up) but it does last for quite some time, longer if I can take it away after the treat is gone. If your dog likes to chew on things, they’ll love it! Read more

My 2 yr old doodle and 14 yr old retriever mix both loved these. Unfortunately the pucks only lasted 4 uses of 30 minutes each, and my dood bit the red holder part the first night and split it in 2 places. Still usable, but for the price... meh. Yes I was supervising. Read more

I love these and use them all the time. They're not the toughest material, they're actually kind of soft, but I think that's why our dog (75lb GSD/Pittie mutt who devours tennis balls in <5 mins) likes them and maybe even why it's lasted (he can't puncture them). I don't know, I guess if your dog likes to rip/tear/pull apart toys, this maybe isn't the best? But it works for us. Photos show damage after about 3 months of daily use, probably from us stuffing poorly-fitting treats into it, rather than from the dog. :) This is my go-to distraction toy for when I'm about to leave the house or when we're eating out and need him to focus on something other than our food. When I put chicken jerky in it, it takes him 10-15 minutes to get out. Kibble or small treats only last a few minutes. The original bento treat that it comes with lasts about 20-30 mins. Or get really creative and start Voltron-ing it with your other toys. Read more

Horrible my dog complete destroyed it in less than 5 mins. Had shredded plastic all over the place, I had high hopes for this toy as the websites states - Made with Virtually Indestructible Material Stronger than rubber! Great for powerful chewers. Free of latex, vinyl and phthalates. I guess they had not met my dog before, Also states Provides Hours of Challenging Play Treat ball system encourages play which helps reduce anxiety and boredom behaviors. Take just minutes to make a huge mess and provide bits and bits of plastic that if my dog ingested, would require a vet visit. I am returning the bits and pieces back to amazon. Awful product!
