I am very pleased with my pan. Staub is a great brand and they make quality non-toxic cast iron pans. The color was very beautiful. You can cook a good amount of food. I think it is worth the cost. The size is great for a family of 4. Read more

Beautiful enamel finish, and it had the stamp on it to ensure it was the real deal. I got it for my son and he cooked with it as soon as he could get his ingredients together. He cooked chicken breasts for sandwiches, and then with the fond he sauteed carrots in a cream sauce. Everything was delicious, and he loves the skillet. Read more

No toxic non-stick chemicals, just enamel on cast iron. With a lot of heat, some oil, and a flat wooden spatula, you can keep things from getting really stuck. Still often need to leave soak in water, but anything stuck come off easily then. Looks great, cooks well. Would buy again. Read more

I LOVE this skillet! I've wanted one for so long and I finally took the plunge. There is a member of my family that thinks he must use high heat on everything he cooks. Needless to say, all my large non-stick pans are warped on the bottom. Not sure I'm going to let him use this one. I love that, like cast iron, it becomes a family heirloom. Told him tonight that our oldest granddaughter gets all my cast iron, ceramic and enamel pans. LOL It heats nicely, even on low like the make suggests and washes up quickly. I rubbed a drop of oil into the finish after drying thoroughly. Love it! Read more

This highly overpriced item does not cook correctly. When I cook bacon, the bacon sticks to the pan and I have to tear it to pieces to get it off of the bottom of the pan. I cannot fry eggs in the bacon grease because they wont even come out. When I cook burgers, the burgers don't stick badly but there is burnt on meat on the pan that takes too much scrubbing with a soft scrub sponge and it still does not look clean. I have tried adding oil when I cook, coating with oil and letting it soak in, and spraying it with Pam. I am so sad because I was looking forward to use the heck out of this skillet. I do have a flat top electric range that I am cooking on. Read more
