Had dyed my hair for a few years and hated that it was so dark compared to my natural. I started using this product to lighten my hair and it was the ONLY thing that worked without bleaching my hair and frying it up. I know the directions said not to use on previously dyed hair but it worked beautifully. I would definitely take precaution tho and use it slowly over time. I used 6 full bottles in under 2 months. Would NOT recommend doing that. Caused some minor damage that was fixed thru conditioning treatments. But it DID get my natural color back and for a heck of a lot cheaper than bleaching for hours and multiple sessions at a salon. Read more

This lightened my hair by several shades. I have used both bottles over the course of a summer. I do a deep conditioner once every couple of weeks, and I use purple shampoo and blue conditioner on and off to decrease the brassiness. It still has a reddish dark blonde hue, but I don’t mind. Still haven't used these, I read the ingredients and I don't recall there being peroxide in the one that we used in the 80s and 90s so now I'm scared to use it because I feel like it was lemon juice and other stuff before. Nope I'm worried it will mess my hair up it was great back then but being older you never know what peroxide will do to your hair. Read more
