This review is for the Sunco 10 Pack Dusk to Dawn LED Outdoor Light Bulb B11, Edison Filament Candelabra Bulbs for Porch Lighting, 500 LM, 5W (40W Equivalent), 4000K Cool White, E12 Base, Photocell Sensor UL. These bulbs work as advertised. I installed these bulbs in 26 light fixtures outdoors. I would avoid installing these bulbs where the shade is high, because the light sensitivity is relatively low. By the way, I prefer this 4000k color for any place where the lighting should be more vibrant and lively (e.g., outdoors, bathrooms, kitchens, desk lamps, and garages). I prefer 2700k - 3000k color for any place where the lighting should be warmer and sleepier (e.g., hallways, dens, and lofts). Read more

Worked better than GE dusk to dawn lights 5000K. We have two patio lights with three bulbs to each housing. With the GE lights, one of the three bulbs wouild not light up. Also GE were significantly priced more. The Sunco ones I bought were 4000K and it as the right amount of brightness without being too bright or warm. 5000K was too bright for our needs shining too much light on neighbors walls. If you want very bright white light to with 5000K. If you want white light but not too bright go 4000K. If you want warm, which we also tried, go 3000K. Below 3000K no point for outdoors. I like these lamps. I was surprised at how bright they are. I'm using only two bulbs in a pilaster fitting for three, but these still provide lots of light. The "Dusk to Dawn" feature allowed me to avoid replacing the wall switch with a timer (important if your wiring doesn't provide "neutral" wires required by many timers). My only gripe is that the lamps stay on until an hour AFTER dawn. When the sun is above the horizon and shining laterally on distant hills, these lamps (not directly illuminated by the sun) don't shut off immediately. You will find cheaper bulbs on Amazon, but many of these are not damp-rated. If you need bulbs for exterior fixtures not directly exposed to the elements, damp-rated bulbs may be preferred. Item works as intended for me. Plug and play. However, my front door area has a slight amount of shade. Meaning these will turn on no matter what I do. Still works as intended and the front garage area works so it's fine with me. This feature started working a few days in. So, give it a bit of time if it is not working ASAP. I believe 3 (one of the nodules is broken) of these on the corner of my garage works well at 2600 lumens illuminate a little across the street and definitely my neighbor's driveway. Neighbors never turned on their lights anyhow. That being said that is probably 50 feet of illumination. Read more
