I have had 66 of these bulbs installed for 18 months. My three most-used rooms have these bulbs as their primary lighting. Half of the bulbs are simply on/off, and half are on Lutron Maestro C.L Dimmer Switches. The most used bulbs are not on dimmer switches, and I have had 9 bulbs either “die” or “start flickering” within the 18 months, for a 13% failure rate. I did notice that I didn’t have any failures during the first year, and now I have one bulb failing about every two weeks. When I have a failure, I notify Sunco using the Amazon “ask a question” button on my previous orders page, and Sunco responds within 24 hours, and within a week they’ve replaced the failing bulbs. Overall, I am thrilled with Sunco as a vendor, and thrilled with the quality of the Bulbs. I only buy the 5000K bulbs, and the light is bright, clear, and the correct color. Given the 7-year warranty and the quick warranty response I am satisfied that Sunco bulbs are the right ones for me. With over 150 LED bulbs in the house, and the initial cost of those bulbs, I’m ok with dealing with the warranty repair issues. I purchased the 2700K Soft White 10 pack. I selected the 2700K pack specifically because it was the cheapest of the 4 options available. I was skeptical about the quality and overall performance of the bulbs due to the extremely low price when compared to the pricing of equivalent, well-known brands name products sold at big box retail stores. I received the product today and immediately installed 4 of them in my living room. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and so far I am happy that I took a chance. The bulbs appear to have the same feel and quality as the brand name light bulbs and they are truly super bright. The product description is completely accurate from what I see so far. The living room I tested them out in is very large and with only 4 bulbs in the room, I was shocked at how well they lit up the space. My house is only 5 years old and has over 50 high hats. The standard bulbs that were provided by the electrician when the house was built have been burning out over the past 2 years. Financially it makes the most sense to replace the standard bulbs with LED equals (due to the efficiency and expected life of the product) however the cost of LED equivalent brand-name bulbs sold in retail stores locally was adding up to a significant amount of money. After feeling the quality of manufacturing and seeing the brightness of these bulbs, I intend to replace every bulb in my house with the Sunco 2700K. They are well worth the price and I highly recommend purchasing this product. Since I have only had them for one day, I cannot comment on lifespan performance yet but I can see that they are well packaged and appear to be manufactured to the same standard as anything available for purchase locally at brick and mortar stores. It has been 11 months since I installed these BR 30 LED floods. The lights are a little brighter than I expected and the color is the best I’ve seen from any LED bulb I’ve ever used. It seems 4000K LEDs are not common, but it is my preferred point on the spectrum, so I’m very happy with the performance. Longevity has been an issue though. Around a month ago (about 10 months in), 2 bulbs failed. I contacted SUNCO through Amazon, got a prompt reply, and a no hassle warranty. I just had another 2 fail within 2 weeks of each other, and had the same experience with SUNCO. I really hope they get the reliability issue ironed out, because the bulbs and the customer service have been great. I plan to buy more from this company in the future. Read more

I am going through my third pack of these now. The first pack I bought was 7 years ago, which by now started failing, which is far more than what you would expect from incandescent lights, which makes these bulbs quite durable. They don't generate a whole lot of heat like incandescent bulbs do, and they are just as easy to install as any other bulb. They are quite bright, so make sure that when you buy these, you are looking for brightness. Read more

I very much like the light bulbs received, so much so that I ended up ordering a second 10 pack to finish replacing the bulbs in my recessed lighting throughout the remaining rooms of my house. Pros: 1. Light being produced is exactly what we were looking for, nice and bright daylight white 2. Fit perfectly in the 4 inch recessed light cans throughout the house with one minor exception listed in the cons. 3. Being LED they only utilize 11 Watts of power while producing 850 lumens of light Cons: 1. The bulbs feel a bit... plastic, doesn't feel overwhelmingly rigid making it seem like it's poor quality. To be clear, so far that is not the case, the bulbs resilient to dropping (dropped 3 of them from about 3 feet up onto laminate flooring, and no breakage or operational issues) 2. The bulb does not seem to be the exact same size as other BR30 bulbs that we have, they seem just a fraction shorter. I currently have Halogen BR30 bulbs in two recessed lights with directional lighting cans that fit without issue, but when I try these bulbs it just does not reach the socket to grab when they are being installed. Switched back to the Halogen's and it grabbed without issue. This only affects two lighting cans in my house and I am ok with that. Read more
