I have been procrastinating on changing my kitchen pot lights. I guess I don't like heights after all, lol! Some lights have been dying, so I had to get to it. They are really bright! The bulbs originally in there were those old energy saving ones that take 3 weeks to finally give light. It's nice to turn on the light AND be able to see, lol! The other lights were bright enough, eventually, but these are nice. They are technically soft light, but they're properly bright. I also absolutely had to change the entrance bulbs. I have high ceilings there (well, I'm short). My tall ladder is weird, and couldn't reach anyway. I came up with a McGyver solution: Long pole + old paper towels tubes + duct tape= light bulb remover & replacer! I cut the ends of the tube into quarters. The bottom to tightly tape to pole, the top to flower out, fixed with duct tape. I cut another tube in half, then cut it long ways so it would fit in the tube on the pole. I put double sided tape around the inside top of that. The second half of the tube, I cut length wise 2/3 of the way, leaving a ring intact. Squished that in the middle of the other tubes and duct taped it together. Lastly, got a length of duct tape and looped it. Placed on top of that inner tube, sticking to the tube, the sides, and sticky side up. Now you can unscrew the bulbs, and it will stick to the tape. Stick the new bulb to the tape (replace tape loop if the bulb was really dusty). Screw in new bulb. It will tighten, then you can pull away! I hope that's helpful! I was thinking about the pole that was for sale, but was skeptical of the reviews... Read more

The lightbulbs are OK, and I will keep them, but buyers should know that what I received is different from the photo accompanying the listing. The bulbs I received have a much flatter top — not a rounded top like the photo — so they don’t match the ones I already have in my light fixtures (which are identical to the ones in the photo). The other difference is that the neck of the lightbulb is also narrower. In my light fixtures, that part is completely hidden, but buyers should be aware. Read more

So far so good! Just used one of these bulbs from a multi pack. It appears to be good quality and lights the area better than the other brand we purchased before. We use these for outdoor downlighting and are pleased. Would definitely buy again and they are made in USA. Read more

We lived with the wrong bulbs in our 4" recessed cans so never used the recessed lights in our bedroom...they flickered, wouldn't turn on...tge whole nine! After I couldn't take it anymore, my research resulted in learning our new immersion weren't led compatible, we needed bulbs that were true dimmable (or TRIAC compatible) and these are them!!! Work GREAT, dont flicker. The only con, if you really are picky is the doft white is actually a lil brighter than expected, closer to a daytime bult ill live with it! These are a GREAT deal and a safe bet!! Read more

I’ve purchased a total of 254 Sunco lights over the past five years. While the price and design are great, I’ve experienced a high failure rate—I’d estimate only about 50% of the lights are still functioning. The issues occur across both indoor and outdoor installations, regardless of conditions. At this rate, it’s hard to recommend Sunco for future projects unless these reliability concerns are addressed. I hope the company sees this feedback and can offer some insight or support, as I’d like to continue using the product if durability improves. Read more
