Really pretty, warmer and brighter than expected, a very "happy" kind of bulb. Unfortunately the Sputnik/Star fixture we bought could not work (it was supposed to be ceiling mount and the arms actually would have gone into the ceiling). When I tried to use these bulbs in the existing fixture, they fit in the socket but were too large and the diffuser plate would not go on. The bulb was significantly brighter than the "60W equivalent" 8 year old CFL bulb (which might be dimmer due to age). I would totally use these again, if I was not putting them in a contained space, which makes sense since they are supposed to be seen. Read more

The media could not be loaded. They are really nice bulbs, but one is flickering and failing after a day of being installed. I just want to add to this review. After contacting Sunco about the faulty bulb, they quickly replaced them. I have changed my review to a 5 star as they are really cool looking bulbs with great customer service. 👍 Read more

Simple factors for selecting bulb are below - This review is for Sunco's vintage bulb 'Edison' style/size ST64 with 4000K temperature rating. Lighting affect - the 4000K bulb produces a 'clean', clear white light regardless of dim setting. There is no yellow/blue hue (3000K and lower will appear amber/yellow and the 5000K temperature bulbs can cast a blue hue). The whiteness is ideal for office work or where a strong clear white is desirable (detailed work or reading). The manufacturer's etching on the bulb is not distracting and doesn't cast a noticeable shadow from the chandelier. Dimming - Bulb has a wide brightness range when dimmed from low (lower brightness than a typical nightlight) to full 120V/60hz - There is no noticeable hue/color shift, buzzing sound, flicker etc. when dimmer is at low end or 'dialed' up. The light remains a clear white and becomes very bright when not dimmed (these bulbs are being used in a chandelier with no bulb covers or shades to mask the bulb). Quality - Each bulb came individually boxed. There is a customer care card in the box to provide support in case there are any issues with your bulbs (I tested the phone number and it is a direct line to SUNCO - because a reviewer said the phone number was outsourced, which is incorrect) Other reviews gave low ratings for this manufacturer's quality that do not match up to my experience. These are nice looking but very white, however you can attach to a dimmer switch to manage the appearance you want or, if you want a more comfortable look I would suggest the warm tone lights , both look great Read more

We bought these bulbs in July, and in February one had already burned out so there is that. They are a nice soft colored bulb which we enjoy. Hoping it was just one bad bulb and the others last longer like LED's should. Read more

These bulbs are what they claim they are and even more. I use them in a commercial facility (their on 18 hours a day) have held up well and illuminate well. They do save on electricity and the cost is great. Read more

Two of the four bulbs we've used started flickering after a few years. Seller says they have 5 year protection, but there's no way to contact them to make use of this. Very disappointed. Read more
