Excellent product with a strong magnet. Just as described. Read more
I put this in a 2022 Subaru Outback. I placed it in an unused space on the smooth glass display. Turns out I didn't like it there and wanted to move it. The bond with the glass was VERY strong. I used a needle to slide under the back of the mount, between it and the glass, jabbing it in over and over to loosen the bond. Then I took a very sharp folding knife (a razor blade would do) and CAREFULLY slid it between the mount and the glass trying hard not to scratch the glass. The whole process took me about 45 minutes, but it came off clean and I was able to use the extra small round sticky pad included in the kit to place the mount in a better position. The magnet works fine - I used the rectangle metal plate, sticking to the back of my iPhone 12 case (I didn't want to stick it to the phone itself) and it holds fine in normal driving. Bouncy or really rough terrain, or fast sudden curves, can make it come free, but for a magnetic stick-and-go, then stop-and-grab mount, I've been very happy with it. Just make sure if you mount it to a glass surface, you place it where you want it because it is very difficult to remove (which is probably a good thing). Read more
Perfect *** IF *** and only if You apply it to a Perfectly Smooth Surface The swivel joint is rock solid tight, yet Smooth as silk. No plastic at all as almost all others are, only machined metal alloys, within a minimalist design. An Excellently Engineered Device when used within specifications. Magnetics are impressively strong and do the job very well ... remember it is NOT Welded steel to steel or even super glue...it is ONLY a very strong Magnetic connected to a very THIN piece of steel and as such WILL fall off if you bump into it or drive FAST on a dirt road however 99% of normal driving will be PERFECT Note: Adjust the proper angle 98% BEFORE you apply the adhesive as it is a ONE time requirement and can *POSSIBLY* (?) rip it off the dashboard through leverage. I attached it to the LCD Display for the radio as it is only half an inch round at the base and when placed in a corner barely covers anything. There are a hundred different designs available but as with many things ... Less is more and in my opinion, this is as close to perfect as around ten bucks will ever get you for a personal car using Waze. PS I have a giant heavy phone in an almost thick protective case with a kickstand and it still performs nearly flawlessly every day. There is however one use case that it is not suited for which is ☆IF☆ you have a pop up between two fingers handle which is *** N O T *** centered on the back as it will cause the phone to be out of balance in the horizontal position and will most likely Fall Off .... okay this horse is dead, just buy it. I like that it has a very strong magnet. However, I had a similar product in the exact same spot in my car. It’s been there for over six months. The magnet was very weak. Well, it was stuck on so good, I could barely get it off. This new one went on the exact same spot in my car. It’s only been a couple weeks and the sticky stuff is coming off the back of it. I think my phone may be too heavy for the sticky backing. Idk. It did come with an extra sticky thingy in case you need to replace it. So, I’ll try that, and hopefully it will work. Kind of disappointed that it’s already peeling off in such a short amount of time. Other than that, it’s sturdy and the magnets strong. Read more

Works better than I thought. Phone is anchored with the magnet nicely. NO SLIPPING. Also, takes up very little space on my dash. Read more
After trying several other (dashboard-type) devices to hold my phone, I finally found one I love! Bean bag holders are too intrusive to my line of sight and kept sliding off. Suction cup holders simply wouldn't stick to my car's curved dash. Another that I bought had an optional clip-on mount that attached to the A/C vent... again, it kept falling off, even after I applied a small layer of cushiony plastic tape to the grip clip -- plus it interfered with the air flow of air conditioning while driving. BOTTOM LINE: This little thing is awesome. It grips your dash, and the magnet grips your phone. It's like magic (And NO, I'm not being paid for this review.) Plus, when not using it, it's so small that you don't even notice it's there. IF YOU BUY - One caveat... Be sure to mark the exact placement of where you want the mount on your dash before you peel off the protective layer and stick it on. Same goes for the thin magnetic piece that goes on the back of your phone - or phone cover/case. You'll want to sit in the driver's seat and play around with it for a bit. You may even want to mark the spot on your dash (and the back of your phone) with some painters tape or something to make sure you get it right. I messed up on the first try, but fortunately, this product came with extra sticky pads. So I was able to remove the dash mount and, with the extra pad, place it in the correct spot for my car. Note that there are also two magnetic pads that attach to back of your phone; one is round and the other is a rectangular shape. I actually used both on my phone...placement of one is when I want my phone horizontal for GPS navigation and the other is more centered for when I want to stick my phone on the dash vertically. Sorry for this long review... but lastly, the magnetic pad(s) that attach to back of your device are super thin. In other words, they don't interfere in any way of everyday handling & using my phone. Kudos to whomever designed this thing :) Read more
