These look really cool from the side, but they are a lot more narrow and pointy in the toe than I expected them to be, which gives them a witchy look. Maybe that's more feminine, but I was expecting something that looked more like a work boot. I like the thick sole, and so far they're comfortable (I wore them for a six hour shift of doing hair) but the laces are really weak, like those thin, stiff laces that you have to double-knot to keep tied. Not really worth almost $300, but I won't return them because I really need them and they're closest in style to what I've been looking for. I will never learn to stop shopping on the internet. Loved the look of these, but unfortunately even though I ordered the 9-9.5 and I am an 8.5-9, these were too long/narrow for my foot. My foot is a touch wide, but I would have had a numb foot if wearing these. Read more

I was looking for study boots to wear while walking the cobblestone streets of Florence, Italy this winter. I tried them at work for 2 days with compression socks. Very supportive and comfortable. I am Director of Rehab in a Nursing home. I walk all day. They were rather warm to wear inside but the point was to purchase warm and waterproof boots. It even snowed here in Denver and they did not leak when I was walking through snow, ice and slush. These are going to be wonderful on my trip! Read more

Purchased for my wife after she looked at them online for at least a month. After a week of very light use the sole on one boot became at least 75 percent unglued. The sole and boot were barely attached. Absolutely not worth 250 dollars. Read more
