This scale is great! I feel like it's one of the better ones, at a good price point, for heavyset individuals. It's hard finding a scale when you're overweight that actually does what it's supposed to do in terms of all the biometric stuff. I also love the fact that you do not need an iPhone or a cell phone, or any kind of wireless connection to any device to clearly see the numbers that are on the scale. It measures body weight, muscle mass, water percentage, bone density, Etc Sometimes you just want to scale that tells your weight, and gives you all the other information without using your phone. And this exact item does all that and more without the need to connect to a phone. The build quality is decent, and I feel like it'll hold up for at least a couple of years. Just make sure to change the batteries when required. The way you'll know this device is getting close to needing new batteries is that the weight will fluctuate 20 or 30 lb below your actual weight one day, and or it might shut off prematurely. It can be a little confusing to set up, so read the manual. I like it. I wanted this to replace my other Taylor scale that I had for 6 years. This scale does come with a 5 year warranty, but most of us don't keep packaging and receipts that long. Read more

It worked for about a month, then started to stop weighing and would not turn on. Changed batteries but that lasted one month. I am returning it to manufacturer. Read more

I purchased this scale to replace a HoMedics scale (that still works but have had a long time) with the same features. In research, the HoMedics scale is no longer made, and Taylor is now making the scales. The scale appears to be made well; however, it does not weigh consistently and has to be in the same location (floor level) to get a somewhat accurate reading (never have experienced this with a scale). The features of Body Fat, Body Water, BMI, and Muscle Mass work intermittently. You get multiple Error Messages. When you follow the instructions to correct the misreading or error message it still only works sometimes. I would not recommend purchasing this scale and definitely would not buy again. Read more
