My 10yr old glass Taylor finally gave out mechanically. This one was perfect replacement. Easier to set up, VERY easy to read. I read some reviews and had to giggle about the expectation people had of what the. "difference" should or shouldn't be in their weight...oh I peed, I should weigh less, it's defective, NO!....or..I got up this morning and weighed (only/omg)a pound less, it's defective, NO! Facts of "life". I like the other measurements beside weight but do not consider them absolute, but a good guide. The weight was within 4/10ths of a lb. of my Dr's scale this week and THAT is what I consider the best recommendation. Read more

These are a little light weight and small for me. Wish I had purchased a larger set. Love the brand. I owned my last set for at least 12 yrs but they were larger. Also, these have no light which I didn’t know it didn’t have. Read more
I purchased this scale to replace a HoMedics scale (that still works but have had a long time) with the same features. In research, the HoMedics scale is no longer made, and Taylor is now making the scales. The scale appears to be made well; however, it does not weigh consistently and has to be in the same location (floor level) to get a somewhat accurate reading (never have experienced this with a scale). The features of Body Fat, Body Water, and BMI monitoring work intermittently. You get multiple Error Messages. When you follow the instructions to correct the misreading or error message it still only works sometimes. I would not recommend purchasing this scale and definitely would not buy again. Read more
