This scale replaced a previous similar Taylor model that lasted 20 years before its electronics wore out. This new one is a little lighter, but the display is even easier to read. It's alao sleeker with less areas for dust or grime to collect. I'm looking forward to another 20 years of reliability and accuracy. Read more

I suspect the last scale I had wasn't very accurate, and I happened to be at my son's and tried out his Taylor (probably a different model, but same brand/company), and really liked the fact that it shows the weight in .2 of lbs, and not just half pound increments. Decided to check out the brand when I got home, and decided on this model. A bonus is that the number shows up very quickly, which is great for my partner who has balance issues, and would take several tries on my old scale. He can get on this one and see the number immediately, with no repeat attempts leading to frustration. Win! Read more
Inexpensive but very nice scale. Good value for the money, as the blue LCD light makes it possible to use in a dark room. Dropped it by 0ne star because it weighs almost a pound lower than a similar but more expensive Taylor scale. You will want to verify the weight and adjust accordingly. I would still buy it again, however! Read more
