Customers say
Customers find the digital scale highly accurate, with one noting it reads to a tenth of a pound, and appreciate its sleek design, easy-to-read display with big, bright numbers, and good value for the price. Customers disagree on the weight accuracy, with some noting it weighs 5 pounds less than actual weight.

What a nice scale. I was not sure how good it would be. Great size. I am able to weight myself and pet (to get pets weight) with ease; due to the size. It flashes the number then holds the weight Read more
We just didn't want the glass top scales that predominate the market. This was what lead me to the Taylor unit herein. Straight forward the best scale I have seen after some extensive searching, and returning two retail purchases. No frills with only the weight function as was desired. If you need more sophistication, they are available. but bone density and water percentages are less important than the pounds of flab I'm hauling around. Fantastic LED back-lite display that works full daylight, and large numbers for those pre-coffee weigh ins. Stainless surface and streamlined sides give a nice sleek look. A heftier feel than many, so it's stays put. Consistently accurate. Time will tell the rest. This is my second Taylor and first of their electronic. Very satisfied at this time. Read more
Very user friendly, simply stand on it to activate the power. Stand still for a few seconds, and when the blue background blinks twice, it will display your weight for about a minute or so. No buttons to turn on, nothing like that. The pro is it seems to be very accurate - taking several measurements over a period of a few hours and they were all within a tenth of each other tells me that it is performing well. It also seems to match with what my doctors scale read, which is another indicator of accuracy. It's clean and sleek, stainless goes with just about anything, so it is sure to look just find in any bathroom or bedroom. The downside to this - there are two downsides that I've seen, and that is why I've deducted a star. First, you have no A/C adapter plug, therefore you do not even have the option of plugging it into the wall in case you choose to. Although I am sure the batteries are going to last quite a while, I always prefer the opportunity. Second, and this might be *why* there is no A/C plug - you must be careful where you place and use this scale. I first used it in my bedroom, and had some power cables running behind it to the desk, and this scale would never stop blinking and changing weights. It seemed completely useless, never stopping changing up and down. The only thing I could figure is that the electricity running through my cables caused a problem for the circuitry in the scale. Though this is no doubt a non-issue in most bathrooms, for those who choose to keep it elsewhere, like the weight room, near the exercise equipment in the home, the garage, or in your room if you are renting a room, you might want to be sure to keep it well away from any running wires. All in all, a good value, good scale, and very nice looking. Certainly recommend. Read more
It arrived securely packaged and comes in a convenient box with a plastic handle for easy storage and transport. Surprisingly the batteries are not cheap generic no-name brands that are already expired. The unit includes 2 Maxell AAA batteries, separately cellophane wrapped. The scale is 100% accurate. I tested it in various parts of the apartment to account for discrepancies in the flatness/balance of the floorboards and got consistent results. I tested the scale using two 5 lbs. dumbbell plates and the scale read a perfect 10 lbs. The textured metallic finish over the glass base is very nicely applied and provides for a better grip and reduces slippage when you're standing on the scale. The digital display is sharp/clear and very easy to read. Read more
I've been searching everywhere for a scale that doesn't have the tempered glass top, and finally found this one. I've been using the same Taylor scale I've had for 30 years, and finally decided I should upgrade. I have now had this new one for a few months, and it has been consistent and works properly for both my husband and myself. It has been consistent with the scale at our doctors office. The large size is very nice, and low profile makes it easy to step up on. Would highly recommend. Read more
With so many products by so many other companies I could have chosen a much better unit elsewhere. I must give it points for low price and light weight. It is hard to slide on the floor which great for safety, but very hard to move with your feet if you want to safely keep it out of the way when not weighing yourself. And if you want to move it in to weigh yourself and the back in the corner to leave room there is no raised or lowered edge, no bevel or lip around the display, or any other way your feet or finger tips can use to pull it away from the walls when it is in the corner. Picking it up with your fingers will require bending down and almost certainly end with dropping it with a crash on the floor because there is no lip to grab. Once the scale is in position you step on it and it immediately starts working (a good thing) and the display begins to madly race up and down. It races too fast to see the numbers and another major bad thing happens, the display shuts off after only a few seconds. No final number, not even enough time to guess at what it should be. This is a major problem. The whole reason for buying a scale is to get a number that is fairly close to your real weight. This scale doesn't give me a number. It is flying by so fast I can't even guess. So as for the scales accuracy , your guess is as good as mine, and both probably better than the scale's. It does come with two batteries so you can begin guessing immediately, and so far it has not broken from trying to move it and dropping 3 or 4 times. Read more
