I recently remodeled my master bathroom in white with gold accents. I needed to replace my scale to match my new bathroom so off to Amazon.com I went! I found this gorgeous gold scale and ordered it immediately. It is remarkably accurate while it looks great in my bathroom too. I recommend with 5 stars! Read more

I’ve been using this scale almost every day for about five months. It’s a very straightforward device. You step on it, the scale automatically turns on, and it reads your weight in about two seconds. Then it turns off. It remembers the reading for a little while, so if you step back on the scale, it instantly shows it again. To get a new calculation takes a little bit of waiting for this memory to clear. I would rather it just made a new calculation every time, but that’s a very minor item, and really the only thing I would change. Overall I’m very happy with this scale. Read more

Sleek, accurate, low profile...a previous model could be used without using other light to view...this one is great otherwise . Read more

Unusable because batteries cannot be inserted (made in China). The Battery compartment IMPOSSIBLE TO OPEN - even with Customer Service Support phone call (the Call Center "supervisor's" supervisor will not speak with customers, and the agent's immediate supervisor will not provide a contact number for the "Taylor" company. Apparently this is an ongoing problem - the customer support person finally gave me the model number of a Taylor scale that had a screw-on cover for the battery compartment, so you could insert batteries. I don't want to have to go get a screwdriver every time I want to change a battery! Some of the scales - like Renphro - have a thumb catch to press to open the battery compartment. Why would you want to complicate it with a screw??? I gathered that they get a LOT of calls about Taylor selling many models with battery compartments that cannot be opened. I guess they figure at least SOME of the people who purchase them will just chisel the cover off the compartment and use duct tape to hold the batteries in. I would AVOID buying Taylor scales until they take the ones with un-openable battery compartments off the market, and put a thumb catch on the battery compartment - If the outside is poorly thought out, what's going on inside? Well, they're made in China, so what can you expect? Read more
