Taylor Precision Products Capacity Digital Bathroom Scale White 400 lb

I've now had this scale for six month and still love it. The accurate readings, the big bright numbers that are easily viewed, makes losing weight a little easier. I have the scale in my kitchen and weigh every morning (only way I can personally diet because if I don't weigh EVERY day, easy to stop weighing period) IF you've been on the fence with this scale, all I can say is after six months, I would have definitely chosen this one AGAIN. ____________________________ First, SO difficult to find a regular, NON-GLASS scale. I had a Thinner brand scale for at least 15 years and it stayed accurate as I would weigh before weigh in at doctor's. FINALLY, it just bit the dust. I did NOT want a glass scale, I saw NO advantage to them and didn't like the idea of them. After looking at over a dozen, I decided on this one. Got it a few days ago, and waited to review after using it. PROS: Batteries come with it and EASY to put in. LOVE LOVE LOVE the LARGE EASY TO READ DIGITAL NUMBERS! I had cataract surgery, which changed my life from nearsighted to farsighted, but if numbers are not PROMINENT, as in a different color from background and LARGE can be hard for me to see. THIS IS EXCELLENT. ALSO am thrilled it doesn't just do in half pound increments. For example, I wanted to see what my cat weighed. Weighed myself, picked her up and realized she weighed 10.8 pounds (she's been weighed before so I had a rough idea). THE TEXTURE of the scale - feels similiar to the vinyl type top I had. ONLY thing I would change is if it wasn't WHITE. Shows any type of dirt or dust pretty quickly, but not a biggie. As I am trying to lose about 20 pounds for health to get to my preferred weight, I NEED an accurate scale. SO FAR, this has proven to be that. This scale is exactly what I needed - no bells and whistles. Very quiet and elegant. Blends into my white tile. The silver around the numbers matches the silver ring basket next to it that holds tissue paper. Great size that fits in tight space. The surface is smooth and not as stable as one with an anti-slip surface, but better than GLASS! I just hope it continues to work as a weight scale! Read more

Every time we stepped on this scale it gave us a different reading. Even if we weighed ourselves 5 minutes later. Very inaccurate. Other people in the household it would read that we are the same weight, even when we clearly are not. Read more

Purchased this to have a scale that was both easy to read and wasn't made of glass. This works perfectly. I don't have to put glasses on and bend over to see numbers, it's not flimsy, and I can store it in the space between the cabinet and wall when not in use. It shipped in a bag which I was originally concerned about but it arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Read more
