Absolutely love this tempered glass mat! I'm a heavy guy; I weigh over 260 pounds. All the vinyl mats I've bought in the past inevitably crack under my weight. But this tempered glass is so strong, I no longer have to worry about that. And it's super "rollable" since it's a smooth, hard surface. I'm also very happy with how affordable this one was. It cost only a nominal amount more than a vinyl mat, and I've been very satisfied with the quality over the last several months I've had it. It was far more affordable than other tempered glass options but is high quality. They even send adhesive traction pads to stick on the bottom to make sure it won't shift on your carpet or hardwood floor. This pad has made me a lifetime user of tempered glass chair pads. This is a really nice looking chair mat, but it's a bit smaller than I expected in terms of how much floor space I use for my chair. While you definitely have to be a little more gentle than with a plastic mat, it feels really study and it's not going to chip by just rolling the chair across it. My chair definitely rolls more quickly than on a normal floor, so it takes a little getting used to. The mat was very well protected and arrived in perfect condition. Tempered glass is tough, but a small piece of grit on the wheel of your chair will scratch the surface deep enough to feel with fingernail, its advertised as having lifetime warranty. We will see how it hold up. Shipping box is huge so be prepared for that Read more
The first time I saw a glass mat like this, I couldn't believe it would hold up but I decided to give it a try. Now, after quite a bit of use, I've really grown to like them and wanted to get one for my office so picked this one up from Vine. It is great quality with crystal clear glass and durable. Rolling around on these mats is so much better than the plastic ones that I don't think I'd ever go back. The only downside is they are a bit heavy and a pain to move around much but fortunately, you just generally do that once. Aside from moving it in place, the only setup is putting little slip-proof stickers on the bottom of the glass. You probably don't need them on carpet but for tile and other very smooth surfaces, the stickers will keep the glass from sliding at all. Well, and of course, clean the floor first because whatever mess is there will be entirely visible. Read more
