I was excited to receive this product and initially thought I had chosen the wrong tint for my skin. When applying to the back of my hand it was too dark. The vendor has since added much better closeup photos with more detail to choose the tint. You will likely feel more confident choosing the correct tone for your completion. For reference I chose M2 and took a photo of it on the back of my hand close up so you can see it goes on lighter that I expected. I did not put any foundation on my neck and just blended over the curve of my chin. In a competitors brand I typically choose golden beige or natural beige. When I applied the Beautiful Tint by Kjaer Weis, I was surprised that it didn’t particularly feel moisturizing. It did not make my skin feel dry, it was more about how it went onto my skin that made me feel this way. More like an oil absorbing foundation feels when applying ( that I typically don’t need since my skin isn’t oily) I was applying to a clean dry face so I probably should have used a moisturizer or primer first …or at least that’s what it felt like I needed to do. I was very pleased with the results. As I mentioned initially it looked a bit dark on the back of my hand but I was very happy with how it blended into my skin. I don’t think this is a product you use expecting it to hide blemishes and dark circles, it is more of a tone evening light foundation. For covering flaws a more targeted product would do best. Using the product again, I used a daytime moisturizer before applying and it went on very smoothly and I like it very very much. According to the manufacturer information, the brand is pronounced, keer why-s. I don’t think the vendor mentions this in the descriptions - but it is made in Italy. The container has a long silver tone lid that I expected to unscrew but instead it pulls off to reveal a tidy pump, making it easier to use and keeping you from dispensing more than intended. Many kinds of foundation and moisturizers make my skin feel like it is burning or they cause a rash a few days later. I’ve been told this is due to my autoimmune issues and it has gotten worse as I have gotten older. I am very pleased to report I’ve had neither issue with this tinted moisturizer from Kjaer Weis. I think this verifies their manufacturing process in a truly a clean non chemical based product. I am happy I chose it. Read more

This product is more than a moisturizer and less than a foundation. It gives my skin a luminous appearance without looking like I'm wearing makeup. The product itself is fairly matte, but there seems to be a pearlized pigment in it that gives my skin brightness and life without looking greasy or heavy. It goes on easily, the shade is perfect for me, and it blends beautifully using just my fingertips. The color stays true all day without oxidizing and going orange by mid afternoon, and I love that they had a color which so perfectly matches my olive toned skin. I ordered the M2 and I'm very pleased with how it looks like nothing, but still manages to make my skin look better. Read more

This is a decent tinted moisturizer but it may not be for everyone. The feel of this moisturizer to me, is more of a thin oily feel and it does not seem to cover a wide area very well. You have to use quite a bit of it to cover a larger area. The color tint was fairly similar to my skin color, but it would have been nice to try it out ahead of time and then really dial in the tint to match my skin more accurately. I think on those days where you don't want to wear a lot of makeup it might help you have a light and thin layer that you can apply really quickly. That would be great for those moments where you don't have a whole lot of time and you want some convenience. However I wouldn't use this on a night out where I am fully covered and made up. I think it would be good in moments where convenience is desired. You haven't tried tinted moisturizer, this might be something to try but again, it's not for everyone. It can get a bit pricey especially because of the amount that you have to use. Read more

I am SO pleased with this tinted moisturizer. I don't often wear a full face of makeup but do like to have some amount of coverage for blending our redness and uneven skintone. I absolutely love this product! When the description says "skin care makeup" it is actually spot on! This tinted cream applies like a lotion but blends out and covers like a foundation. It is the perfect balance of hydrating and giving just the right amount of color and coverage. I love that it still lets my natural shadows on my face show so you don't feel washed out and like you need to apply blush, etc. It wears really well, a little goes a long way and it is buildable if you have areas that need a little extra coverage. I don't always wear makeup, but I like to have some on hand. Thought I would give this M2 Kjaer Weis tinted moisturizer a try. I looked at the facial pictures to decide which tint to get, and I am happy to say that I picked well. I used a sponge to apply, and it looks pretty natural which is always my goal. I had a couple of spots that I used it a little heavier for coverage and it still seemed to not look clumpy. It feels light, and I think that it will last a while, I don't feel like I had to use much to get the coverage I was looking for. I did think that the cap was a little odd, the hole seems to be kind of big in the container, and it was a little more runny that I thought it would be, but I'm satisfied. Read more
