Where has this been all my life!? I’ll be honest, I don’t have time for a full blow out style routine in the mornings. Who does? lol. Sleepy tie not only saves me time, but the bounce, subtle waves and movement this gives my hair, is amazing and effortless! I have longer curtain bangs so If I have time I’ll roll those up separately in a roller, and then take the back half of my hair and roll it up with the sleepy tie in the opposite direction. I leave it wrapped up like that for about 30 minutes after blow drying and tadah! Salon quality hair! I love that I can also sleep comfortably in this sleepy tie. I’m a side sleeper so this is the first overnight curling item where I haven’t been overly aware of it during the night, tossing and turning in discomfort. It’s comfy, encourages the hair at the roots to finish drying in an upwards position rather than flat against the scalp with regular air drying. I really like how soft my hair feels in the morning after using this. I can tell it isn’t as frizzy or tangled. What I don’t like is that it doesn’t always stay in. I have medium length hair. It’s about 3-4 inches passed my shoulders and it only wraps around the sleep tie 1 1/2 times. So by the end of the night sometimes it’s falling off. I know it would be better if my hair was longer. So I’m keeping it to see if things improve as my hair grows. I also think it is a bit expensive which is the other reason for 4 stars. Read more
This is so uncomfortable to wear. It also does not work very well. I have relatively long hair (past my armpits) but I guess because I have layers I can’t wrap may hair around it more than 1.5 times and it is so tight. I’m not sure who this actually works for, but it does not work for me. Would not recommend, especially for the price Read more
I use this instead of a hair tie around the house but have seen no success in using this overnight. I do blowout rods every night and was hoping this would be a nice switch up, but it doesn't really do anything and what it does give you it just looks weird. Also I weirdly get a massive headache the morning after and it's not because I'm doing it too tight because I do the OB Rods and you need the same tension and I never get a headache or am uncomfortable. I wear it around the house when I want my hair up because it probably is better for your hair than a hair tie. If you're one of the chosen who this works for, the quality is good and packaging is cute. Read more
I have a lot to say about this product. I originally bought to hopefully be able to wear during my long walks in the morning, and still be able to take my hair out and have it be curly. It definitely worked for keeping your hair wavy, but it changed the direction of your curls, making some curls curled towards your face and looked a little goofy. And the learning curve of putting it in was also a little difficult. The directions didn’t seem to be super helpful and I had to watch videos on it. Read more
I haven’t been this happy with a hair product in idk how long! I have long, fine hair, although there is plenty of it. This medium side works perfect. It doesn’t pull or give you headaches. It keeps the hairs off your neck/back/armpits 🤮 at night. And it’s perfect for side sleepers unlike most other products!! Read more
