ThermoPro TP358 Bluetooth Thermometer for Room Temperature with Built-in Clock Smart Temperature Sensor and Humidity Meter with Backlit

This is a great device offered at very reasonable price. We experienced very high uncomfortable humidity in our newly-built house (summertime N. Carolina), and I purchased the device to confirm high humidity (it was!). After an AC technician performed corrective service to both new AC units, its associated easy to use bluetooth phone app confirmed return of humidity to acceptable levels (the ThermoPro TP358 readings were in close agreement to the tech's equipment). The app's bluetooth tracking of current, daily, weekly or annual humidity/temperature variation data is a reassuring feature, providing feedback of AC/heat unit function (and a history for routine maintenance evaluation). The minor additional cost of the ThermoPro TP358 Thermometer over that of base models not offering it is really useful. This feature allows easy phone-app tracking of temp/humidity in any area of the house (e.g, unheated/unair-conditioned spaces). Our water heater is in such a space and can be vulnerable to extreme wintertime freeze conditions. Will definitely use it to monitor if water-heater is approaching a freeze event. Importantly, the ThermoPro TP358 app can be set to provide heads-up phone alerts to unacceptable temp/humidity excursions preset by me in the app. Read more

I love this item. I have two: 1 in my garage and one in my greenhouse. I can see the temperature in both places at any time - from my living room. AND it keeps temp and humidity history for up to a year. So easy to see how high/low temps for the day, or overnight. Inexpensive and they work very well. Check out the pics! Read more

The product is attractive, the large typeface of the display is pleasing in appearance and easy to read. The magnet on the back makes it easy to install. As far as I can tell, the temperature and humidity readings are accurate. The app display had only two views, Temperature and Humidity, which I liked, because I find that other devices which display four or more variables look cluttered. I chose this device for its ability to display temperature history on a phone. I wanted to know, "How cold did it get in the house last night? And the night before?" The app doesn't upload data automatically, you have to back-arrow to a page before the charts and hit an icon on the upper left that looks like the device. I found the app's User Interface some lacked standard features common to other apps. For instance, the numbers were smaller than I could read. The usual things I do to make text bigger, like pinching to zoom in or turning the phone sideways, were not available in this app. That made it harder to use than expected. One could expand the temperature (or humidity) graph by pinching the display open. But it only worked in the 24Hrs view, not in the 1 Week or 1 Year view. Similarly, the graph could be slipped left or right, but only in the 24Hrs view. The Temperature (or Humidify) axes could not be pinched/expanded in any view. I like this device. After I figured out how to send temperature data to the app, I liked it even better, but it still gives a general impression of, "The hardware is great, but the app was released before it was finished." To the manufacturer, I would recommend two additions to the app: 1. "Enable 'pinch' to zoom in the screen," and 2. "Make 'touch the chart' (or thermometer/teardrop at top of screen) be the way to ask for a data upload," assuming it's not done automatically. Read more

Bought two of these to keep an eye on temps and humidity around the house. Very simple to operate and it comes with the needed 2 alkaline AAA batteries. Bluetooth connectivity very quick via its app. Nice to be able to review data without having to go to each location physically; you can also rename each sensor in the app to whatever you want so you can easily identify the room. I put the two sensors side by side and, as you can see from the picture, the readings are basically identical. Will buy more in time so each room has its own sensor. Read more
