I love this bag. I travel a lot for work and needed a professional looking carry on "personal item" that would work well with my rollaboard luggage. This slides nicely over the carry handle of the luggage to sit securely on top. The size is perfect. It's as big as you can get and still fit cleanly beneath the seat in front of you, so it has plenty of room to carry what I need it to without being too big. There is a good mix of pockets, enough to organize my things without having so many that I have trouble finding what I need. I'm not an expert on leather quality or style, but the to me the leather looks and feels great, and seems to be off much higher quality than the price would suggest. I've put it thru some heavy use so far for several months, and it doesn't even look used. I suspect it should be fairly robust and last a long time. My only complaint is that the smaller front pockets are secured with magnets. I would have preferred an option for snaps or buckles. The magnets are fairly strong and so far it has not been an issue, but it is not assuring when I can just pull them open with not much force. But so far they have stayed latched but to be safe I am just sure not to keep anything too important in those pockets. But this is such a great bag for the money for my purposes in every other way that I'm happy to give it a full 5 star review. Read more

No cheap, bonded leather here this is full grain leather that seems like it will wear like iron. It comes a bit stiff, but I'm sure that will improve over time. There's a ton of room inside, plenty of pockets, and a very nice shoulder strap. Really, the only worry is that it'll be easy to overstuff it so it's too heavy. Read more

Exactly as pictured but even higher quality look in person. Excellent leather and metal quality! The room is fantastic for all types of things and is just the right size for every day carry. I was so excited to receive my item. After reading several reviews I decided to go ahead and order it. I have no complaints, it stylish, large enough for the items that I carry. Best computer bag I ever had. High quality leather with several compartments and pockets. My Apple MacBook Pro fits it perfectly with room to spare. This bag has enough room to bring my computer and sneak several snacks into the library while I’m working. Lol. This is an heirloom bag. The full grain leather is rather stiff but most full grain leather is. This is the kind of bag that you break in for 20 years and then pass it on to someone else. I would definitely buy it again. I've had this briefcase for two months. I'm not a leather expert. But the material appears very high quality and it's thick, yet soft. There was some complaint of staining. However I didn't have that experience. Normally, I'm not a fan of magnetic button fasteners. But these are adequate and anything I don't want to lose, I store it in the internal pouches which are protected by the zipper. The internal laptop sleeve slot easily fits my MacBook Air. The only thing I really don't like about this briefcase is that the strap is uncomfortable. I am considering getting a different one. But overall, I am happy with this product. Read more
